Non-Citizen Voting – Hearing from 2006 “The Help America Vote Act of 2002 required the federal registration form to include a box prospective registrants would have to check to certify that they are a citizen. If the person indicates they are not a citizen, they are not to complete the form. If the box is not checked, the form is supposed to be returned to the applicant for completion. In practice, forms without the box checked are often processed, potentially registering non-citizens. Even when the box is checked, the election official is relying on the truthfulness of the certification and cannot verify it with any further documentation.” 257 pages of transcripts. How much of this remains unfixed? https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/CHRG-109hhrg28965/pdf/CHRG-109hhrg28965.pdf

There are nine Dell commercial off the shelf workstations (desktop computers) certified in D-Suite 5.5-C. When is the last time you bought a computer without wireless capabilities? What procedural or technical controls are in place to ensure wireless capabilities are not enabled?

Kurt Olsen says it was a good day in AZ court today fighting against voting machines. The judge has taken the case under advisement & ordered additional items to be filed in no later than one week 🇺🇸 Olsen says they presented an incredibly strong case: - One expert testified that he broke into the voting machines hundreds of times, often in as few as 2 minutes. - Testimony that Maricopa's systems were out of compliance & not certifiable. - Unrebutted testimony that there is manipulation of the votes. 🔥

Anyone have a sense of how the AZ hearing went today? I was not able to listen to the whole hearing.

I have a pro se federal suit filed in MO against The US Election Assistance Commission and the MO SOS. Regarding the violations of federal law on unaccredited laboratories testing and certifying our voting equipment. Filed 6/28

Filed in Texas: Resist1776, [Jul 20, 2022 at 10:49 PM] Friends, Attached is a recent Federal District Court Texas Election case filed pro se by voters in many Texas counties (Travis, Dallas, Harris, Hood, Parker, Hays, Collin, Bexar, Tarrant, Williamson, Comal, Denton, etc)  https://dockets.justia.com/docket/texas/txndce/4:2022cv00576/364654 There are two main claims against the Sec. of State (Scott and Ingram) for waiving laws and county officials for violating those laws that were waived: 1)  Voting machines were not certified according to law, and 2)  Ballots are not numbered consecutively (they used claims from the ballot numbering letter to Tex. AG from attorneys, Roger Borgelt, Frank Dobrovlony, and Anna Eby). The Federal Judge is Mark Pittman https://www.txnd.uscourts.gov/judge/judge-mark-pittman Laura Laura Pressley, Ph.D. Founder, True Texas Elections, LLC 313-720-5471 "Give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall" - 2Peter 1:10

The Election Industry Here is a 55 page catalog of items sold to support elections, much of it is for the machines. Imagine if machines went away? Most of this would no longer be needed. How much tax money would that save? Do you think the election industry wants to lose that revenue? https://electionsource.com/ https://electionsource.com/https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0273/4738/6448/files/2021_ElectionSource_Catalog_041421_v2.pdf?v=1618408350

Election Machine Scanners – Part 2 EAC EOC DVS-100543 added a Canon DR-G1130 scanner to the ICC. This scanner has interesting features like text enhancement, character emphasis, count only mode, pre-scan, skip blank page to name a few. https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/products/details/scanners/document-scanner/imageformula-dr-g1130 It also comes pre-loaded with Kofax VRS as well as Canon CapturePerfect. (In my previous post, I addressed CapturePerfect.) https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1010744-REG/canon_8073b002_imageformula_dr_g1130_document_scanner.html/overview Kofax VRS is another software product therefore it has release notes with it’s own set of bugs. https://knowledge.kofax.com/VRS__Scanning_Apps/Product_Documentation-User_Guides/VRS_Product_Documentation The point is that…. promising to not use “features” is not the same as ensuring that they are never used. How do you ensure that pages on a scan are never replaced or enhanced in a way that invalidates voter intent?

Canon Bugs in Ballot Scanners https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/product-advisories/detail/captureperfect3-1-miscpage Turns out, Canon CapturePerfect ain’t so perfect. This software is included on the Canon built scanners included in some election machine systems. Specifically, the DR-G1130 Production Document Scanner included in ICC. It is referenced in this ECO. https://www.eac.gov/sites/default/files/eoc-documents/ECO%20100543%20PVV%20Analysis.pdf From Canon “Within CapturePerfect 3.1, there are editing functions such as 'Delete Page', 'Insert/Add Pages' and 'Replace Page', in addition to the basic functions of capturing images. It has come to our attention that in certain instances, when such editing functions are used following creation of the file, CapturePerfect 3.1 may delete the file.” Wait, what? Delete a ballot you mean? So, you can edit, replace and delete pages with Capture Perfect? Why does that software even exist on an election machine scanner? How could that be certified? Are we simply supposed to trust that it is never used? Elected officials, are you are aware of this bug and the need to patch it? Do you know Capture Perfect permits deletion of images?

Getting Ahead of the Next Cheat Let’s assume some people want to solve the election machine issue with “better technology” instead of using hand marked and counted paper ballots. So far, this has been an abysmal failure in Switzerland and Australia. The experts at Scytl say “ it works” and then the independent researchers prove them wrong. Sound familiar? https://pursuit.unimelb.edu.au/articles/what-a-second-flaw-in-switzerland-s-svote-means-for-nsw-s-ivote

Election Machine Networked UPS UPS stands for uninterruptible power supply. Apparently, a new UPS was specified for the a ballot marking device. Not a big deal, right? https://www.eac.gov/sites/default/files/eoc-documents/ECO%20100535%20Analysis.pdf But, if you look closely, the UPS itself is a “smart device”. It has the capability of being connected to the internet. https://www.apc.com/us/en/product/SMT1500C/apc-smartups-line-interactive-1500va-tower-120v-8x-nema-515r-outlets-smartconnect-port+smartslot-avr-lcd/ And some types of UPS have firmware that can be hacked to start fires. https://gizmodo.com/new-hack-can-trick-power-bricks-into-starting-fires-1844441247 The above example was not the UPS specified in the Engineering Change Order, to be clear. The point is, do our elected officials really understand how many components in the overall election machine architecture have internet CAPABILITES and are potentially hackable? Even something as “innocent” as a UPS is hackable.
