WOW Bistro served up a massive feast with tons of foods fusioned to our local flavours!! they are a family-friendly diner producing foods with no pork, no lard and no MSG!! these were the signatures we tried: 🥣 creamy mushroom soup, creamy potato with bacon bits soup, creamy tomato soup (S$6.80 each) 🍆 aubergine parmigiana tower (S$11.80) 🍖 triple-infused oxtail stew (S$28.80) 🥘 DURIAN CURRY FISH (S$28.80) 🥩 lam kut teh (S$30.80) let's start with my absolute favourite dish, the DURIAN CURRY FISH!!! honestly, all of us were super skeptical about this because who would think to have durian and nonya curry together right??? but it surprisingly went SO WELL TOGETHER!! the curry itself was super flavourful and rich but when eaten together with the durian flesh, it balanced out the savoury with its own sweetness!! the fish was also really tender and fresh so everything blended with harmony~ we were all really mindblown about this combination and i'd actually 100% recommend it to everyone!! my second favourite was their TRIPLE-INFUSED OXTAIL STEW!! the oxtail was so tender and literally fall-off-the-bone~ the stew itself had a really deep flavour and dipping their crisp toasted baguette in it was so satisfying!! their LAM KUT TEH was pretty interesting!! instead of pork, they decided to incorporate lamb into the soup!! it was also served with a small portion of lambrack on the side!! i wasn't really into this as i felt the soup was a little too oily and the lamb was slightly dry out of all the soups, the MUSHROOM was our favourite!! it had a very strong aroma and once again their crispy baguette made everything better!! the POTATO soup was thick and creamy, and the TOMATO soup was amazing too!! the AUBERGINE PARMIGIANA TOWER was pretty basic!! i mean i love aubergines and the tomato cheese combination is timeless~

Sides are generally great for sharing as the portion was quite big! They have outdoor seating too so the vibes was q nice when we went at night. After being blown away by their amazing King Prawn Laksa Pasta, we knew we had to come back again to try out more dishes from their menu! 🍝 Here are what we had at WOW Bistro: 1️⃣ 𝐋𝐚𝐦𝐛 𝐊𝐮𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐡 - $𝟑𝟎.𝟖𝟎 New Zealand Premium Lamb Rack.braised in an aromatic mixture of Chinese Herbs and Spices. Char-grilled before serving with Herbal Soup and Sliced Baguette 2️⃣ 𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐍𝐨𝐧𝐲𝐚 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐅𝐢𝐬𝐡 - $𝟐𝟖.𝟖𝟎 Seabass Fillet in Nonya Durian Curry Sauce. The Lamb is cooked till really tender, and the char-grill process make the meat really fragrant! The Soup is really comforting, and Mutton Soup lovers are sure to be delighted with it! 🐑 The Durian Curry Fish has 4 seeds of Durian in it! The creaminess and fragrance of the Durian is infused into the Nonya Curry, and you can really taste the Durian in the dish! It is surprisingly pleasant, and the Seabass Fillet is fresh and soft! 🐟 Our favourite dish of the night has to be the Grilled Octopus Leg! Oh, the Lemon Juice with the soft and tender Octopus Leg just makes us miss Greece all over again. Be sure to order this while you are here!
