*Forgiven People Forgive People*

_Day 206/365_
_Colossians 3:13 says, “Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.”_
Forgiveness is one of the clearest expressions of God’s grace at work in a believer’s life. We have all received mercy that we did not deserve through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Because we have been forgiven so completely, God calls us to extend that same grace to others. Forgiveness is not a sign of weakness; it is evidence of spiritual maturity and a heart transformed by God’s love.
Holding on to bitterness keeps us imprisoned by the past, but forgiveness brings freedom, healing, and restoration. When we choose to forgive, we reflect the character of Christ and become living testimonies of His redeeming grace.
Here are three ways to live as someone who has truly been forgiven:
1. *Remember how much God has forgiven you.*
_Colossians 3:13 says, “Even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.”_
Never lose sight of the mercy God has shown you. The more you appreciate His forgiveness, the easier it becomes to extend grace to others.
2. *Release bitterness and choose forgiveness.*
_Ephesians 4:31–32 says, “Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger… be put away from you… forgiving one another.”_
Bitterness only deepens wounds, but forgiveness brings healing. Choose to release every offence into God’s hands and allow His peace to guard your heart.
3. *Let forgiveness become your testimony.*
_Matthew 18:21–22 says, “I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.”_
A forgiving spirit reflects the heart of Christ. As you forgive repeatedly, your life becomes a powerful witness of God’s patience, mercy, and transforming love.
_Precious one, you have been forgiven much by God. Therefore, refuse to allow unforgiveness to take root in your heart. Extend the same grace you have received, and let your life reveal the power of Christ’s redeeming love. As you forgive others, God will continue to heal, strengthen, and restore your heart_.
*Prayer:*
_Heavenly Father, thank You for the forgiveness You have freely given me through Jesus Christ. Heal every wound in my heart and give me the grace to forgive those who have offended me. Let Your mercy flow through my life, making me an instrument of peace, reconciliation, and restoration. In Jesus’ name, Amen._

*Don’t Have an Exaggerated Opinion of Yourself*

_Day 205/365_
_Romans 12:3 says, “For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”_
Humility is one of the greatest qualities God looks for in those He chooses to use. Pride blinds us to our dependence on God, while humility keeps us teachable, obedient, and available for His purpose. Throughout Scripture, those who remained humble experienced God’s favour, but those who exalted themselves eventually fell.
King Saul lost his position, not because he lacked ability, but because pride led him to value his own judgment above God’s instruction. In contrast, David placed his confidence in God rather than in his own strength. God honours those who rely on Him and resist the temptation of self-importance.
Here are three ways to remain useful in God’s hands:
1. *Maintain a humble view of yourself.*
_Romans 12:3 says, “Not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think.”_
Never forget that every gift, opportunity, and position you enjoy is an expression of God’s grace. Humility enables you to remain grateful and dependent on Him.
2. *Depend on God more than your abilities.*
_1 Samuel 17:45 says, “I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts.”_
Your education, experience, and achievements are valuable, but your greatest confidence must always be in God. He is the source of every victory and every success.
3. *Obey God completely.*
_1 Samuel 15:22 says, “To obey is better than sacrifice.”_
Partial obedience is still disobedience. A humble heart responds fully to God’s instructions, even when they are difficult or inconvenient.
_Precious one, guard your heart against pride and self-reliance. Remain humble before God, trust Him completely, and obey His Word without reservation. As you do, He will continue to lift you, strengthen you, and use your life for His glory._
*Prayer:*
_Heavenly Father, deliver me from every trace of pride and self-importance. Help me to walk in humility, depend on You in all things, and obey Your Word wholeheartedly. Let my life always bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen._
