Marathon weekend is here — so let’s take a closer look at the medals.
For the next four-year medal series, Rimi Riga Marathon is developing the artistic concept in close collaboration with the Latvian National Museum of Art. The upcoming letters are currently shown as placeholders until each year’s medal artwork will be revealed.
The first letter, R, is inspired by motifs from the works of Latvian artist Boriss Bērziņš.

Venice Biennale just opened and Latvia is stepping into the spotlight with Untamed Assembly: Backstage of Utopia.
