🎬 RIGA IFF has announced its 2026 theme: YOU ARE HERE — a reminder of presence and an invitation to be here and now.

Festival director Liene Treimane explains that the words "you are here" usually help us find our way — on airport signs, maps, transit cards. In the context of RIGA IFF, they take on a deeper meaning: a reminder of the most important starting point, the one from which any journey begins — including the cinema experience itself. Two hours in one room, next to a film and next to other viewers, with everyday noise set aside — cinema doesn't change where we are, it changes where we look at the world from.

First look at the programme and the first films are already revealed and limited number of festival "early bird" ticket bundles are now available.
