🩸 BAPS Charities Annual Blood Drive at #BAPSEdison Today (Sept 28), BAPS Charities hosted its annual Blood Drive at #BAPSEdison with special guests Edison Township Mayor Samip “Sam” Joshi and NJ State Assemblyman Robert Karabinchak. Blood donation saves lives — someone needs blood every 2 seconds worldwide. The New York Blood Center (NYBC), supplying over 200 hospitals in the Northeast, has seen a major drop in donations since COVID-19 and urgently calls on donors to help. Answering this call, BAPS Charities organized today’s Blood Drive in Edison, NJ. Thanks to the support of volunteers and donors, a record-breaking 164 pints of blood were collected — potentially saving up to 492 lives. 🙏 Thank you to everyone who helped make this life-saving effort possible. This reflects BAPS Charities’ ongoing commitment to the health and well-being of our communities.
