Theme 2023 : “One World, One Health: Prevent zoonoses, Stop the spread” 🔹 Zoonoses or Zoonosis is an infectious disease caused by a pathogen (it can be an infectious agent such as bacteria, viruses, parasites, etc.) that has jumped from vertebrate animals to humans or vice versa. 🔹 The French biologist, Louis Pasteur, successfully administered the first vaccine against a Zoonotic disease on July 6, 1885.
