Jan Suraaj, A unique Grassroot initiative led by the people of Bihar and anchored by Prashant Kishor. JSYLP is a program which creates a progressive platform for enthusiastic young individuals at regional level who are interested to participate in active political movements and learn from it. The program is committed to the course of strengthening Indian Democracy by reaching out to the last person standing in the line. The program since its inception in August 2022 has seen more than 350 fellows be a part, gaining experience by working in various capacity across Bihar. We are now accepting applications for the upcoming cohort of the fellowship. The chosen fellows will be entrusted with the responsibility of understanding Bihar from Socio-Economic perspective with the bottom up approach and experiential hands on experience. Additionally, they will have the exposure of collaborating with Prashant Kishor, who has embarked on Jan Suraaj Padyatra started on 2nd October, 2022 and has covered 9 Districts of Bihar till date and walked thousands of kilometers on foot, and engaging in discussions about grassroots social, economic, and political issues encountered during the fellowship.
