*Important points of Union Budget 2024-25* *____* ●The full *'Union Budget 2024-25'* was presented in Parliament by Union Finance Minister Smt. *🔥अंतर्राष्ट्रीय आपराधिक न्याय दिवस | 17 जुलाई* *🔥 International Criminal Justice Day | 17 July* 👉परिचय- प्रतिवर्ष 17 जुलाई को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय आपराधिक न्याय दिवस मनाया जाता है। यह 17 जुलाई, 1998 को रोम संविधि को अपनाने की वर्षगांठ का प्रतीक है. जो ICC की संस्थापक संधि है। 👉उद्देश्यः . अंतर्राष्ट्रीय आपराधिक न्यायालय सामान्यतः नर-संहार, युद्ध अपराध, मानवता के विरुद्ध अपराध और आक्रमण का अपराध जैसे गंभीर अपराधों से संबंधित मामलों की जाँच करता है। . 👉ICC का उद्देश्य अंतर्रा्ट्रीय आपराधिक न्याय के माध्यम से अपराधों के लिये ज़िम्मेदार लोगों को दंडित करने तथा इन अपराधों को फिर से घटित होने से रोकने में मदद करना है। : भारत, चीन एवं अमेरिका रोम संविधि के पक्षकार टेश नहीं हैं। 👉इतिहासः " 17 जुलाई, 1998 को 120 देशों द्वारा रोम संविधि को अपनाया गया था। " 1 जुलाई, 2002 को आधिकारिक तौर पर ICC की स्थापना की गई। इस प्रकार रोम संविधि 60 राज्यों के अनुसमर्थन के बाद प्रभावी हुई। चँकि इसमें कोई पूर्व्यापी अधिकार क्षेत्रनहीं है, 👉अतः ICC इस तिथि से या उसके बाद किये गए अपराधों की जाँच करने में सक्षम है। 👉वर्ष 2010 के संशोधनों के बाद रोम संविधि न्यायालय में पीडितों के प्रतिनिथित्व के लिये मानक तय कर सुरक्षा के अथधिकार और निष्पक्ष परीक्षण को सनिश्रित किया गया। *🔥 International Criminal Justice Day | 17 July* *Introduction:* Every year on 17 July, International Criminal Justice Day is celebrated. This day marks the anniversary of the adoption of the Rome Statute on 17 July 1998, which is the founding treaty of the International Criminal Court (ICC). *Objective:*  - The International Criminal Court generally investigates cases related to serious crimes such as genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and the crime of aggression. - The ICC aims to punish those responsible for such crimes and help prevent them from occurring again. Notably, India, China, and the United States are not parties to the Rome Statute. *History:* - On 17 July 1998, the Rome Statute was adopted by 120 countries. - The ICC was officially established on 1 July 2002, following the ratification of the Rome Statute by 60 states. - Since the ICC does not have retroactive jurisdiction, it is only able to investigate crimes committed on or after this date. *After the 2010 amendments:*  - The Rome Statute set standards for victim representation in the court and ensured the right to protection and a fair trial.
