9th Veterans Day-हर काम देश के नाम वेटरन्स ने अपना जीवन देश की रक्षा और राष्ट्र निर्माण के लिए क्या समर्पित : लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) माननीय राज्यपाल गढ़ी कैंट में आयोजित नौवें ट्राई सर्विसेज वेटेरन्स डे समारोह में शामिल हुए देवभूमि उत्तराखण्ड के वीरभूमि होने पर गर्व है :संदीप गुप्ता Dehradun, DDA correspondent। Governor Lt Gen Gurmeet Singh (से नि) ने मंगलवार को Armed Forces Veterans Day के अवसर पर शौर्य स्थल, देहरादून में The brave martyrs के सम्मान में flower circle अर्पित कर tribute दी। इस दौरान उन्होंने उपस्थित Ex-Servicemen से मुलाकात की और Service to nation हेतु दिए गए His contributions के लिए expressed gratitude किया। इस अवसर पर Governor ने 9th Veterans Day पर first time आयोजित ex-servicemen parade की सलामी भी ली। Governor ने कहा कि यह दिन न केवल हमारे supreme sacrifice of soldiers को याद करने का अवसर है, बल्कि यह हमें Nation first, sovereignty and territorial integrity की Continuous efforts to protect करने की Inspiration भी देता है। Governor ने इस अवसर पर Armed forces personnel, sailors, air force personnel और their families को Best wishes देते हुए कहा कि Our Veterans ने अपना जीवन देDefence of the country and nation building के लिए Dedicated किया है। उनका Passion and dedication आज भी Society में Character building and national service का Source of inspiration है। Governor ने कहा कि Veer Naris, Military families और Veterans की भलाई, उनकी Health Services, ECHS Benefits और अन्य आवश्यकताओं का ध्यान रखना हम सभी की collective responsibility है। Jaswant Ground में आयोजित Ninth Grand Veterans Day Celebration के दौरान माननीय Governor ने 17 वीर नारियों और 10 Brave ex-servicemen को सम्मानित किया और उनकी Service to nation और उनके Sacrifices के लिए उनका आभार व्यक्त किया। Doon Defence Academy के निदेशक संदीप गुप्ता ने कहा कि देवभूमि Uttarakhand के Veerbhoomi होने पर Proud है। उन्होंने कहा कि Uttarakhand के Every home, every family किसी न किसी रूप में Indian Armed Force से connected है और इस Veerbhoomi के Martyrs ने Courage, Valour and Sacrifice का Unique Introduction दिया है। इस अवसर पर Minister of Military Welfare गणेश जोशी, Lt Gen Sandeep Jain, Commandant IMA, Brigadier Sanjog Negi, Deputy GOC Uttarakhand Sub Area; rear Admiral पीयूष पावसी; Air Commodore नीरज शर्मा सहित Ex-Servicemen में लेo जनरल वी के मिश्र, मेo जनरल संजय असवाल और dehradun station के Serving officers, JCO और अन्य रैंक के Officer भी उपस्थित रहे। 9th Veterans Day - Every Task in the Name of the Nation 🇮🇳 Veterans have dedicated their lives to the defense of the nation and nation-building: Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Retd.) 🎖 Honorable Governor attended the 9th Tri-Services Veterans Day ceremony at Garhi Cantt 🎉 Proud of Uttarakhand being the Land of Heroes: Sandeep Gupta 🏔✨ On Tuesday, 14th January 2025, Governor of Uttarakhand, Lt Gen Gurmeet Singh (Retd.) honored the brave martyrs on Armed Forces Veterans Day by laying a floral tribute at Shaurya Sthal in Dehradun 🌸. During the event, he interacted with the Ex-Servicemen and expressed his heartfelt gratitude for their dedicated service to the nation 🙏. The Governor also took the salute at the inaugural ex-servicemen parade, which was held in celebration of the 9th Veterans Day 🎖. The Governor said that this day is not only an opportunity to remember the supreme sacrifice of our soldiers, but it also inspires us to continue the efforts to protect our nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity 🌍💪. He extended his best wishes to Armed Forces personnel, sailors 🚢, air force personnel ✈️, and their families, stating that our Veterans have dedicated their lives to the defense of the country and nation-building. The Governor emphasized that the well-being of Veer Naris (wives of martyrs), military families, and veterans, as well as their health services, ECHS benefits, and other needs, is a collective responsibility for all of us 🤝.
