On 25th October 2024, Doon Defence Academy celebrated Diwali with the theme "Ek Diya Shaheedon Ke Naam," honoring the brave martyrs who have sacrificed on the line of duty while serving the nation. The event was graced by Vice Admiral (Retd) Anurag Thapliyal, who served as the chief guest, inspiring all with his presence and words of wisdom. The celebration featured a series of heartfelt performances by the students, including cadets of Pratham Pag Foundation course. Various cultural programs showcased their talent, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with joy and celebration. The evening was not only a tribute but also a festive occasion, as the academy community came together to light diyas and share in the joy of Diwali. Vice Admiral Thapliyal emphasized the importance of honoring our heroes and instilled a sense of pride among the attendees. A special highlight of the celebration was Victory Parade - 02 for students who have successfully Cleared NDA, CDSE and AFCAT examination. They were presented with cash awards in honor of their achievements. This acknowledgement inspired all present and motivated the students to strive for excellence. As the evening progressed, the atmosphere transformed into a lively celebration, culminating in an energetic performance by Sandeep sir on the famous song "Papa kehte hain bada naam karega" bringing huge applause among the audience. The event was hosted by Umesh Kuniyal Sir, who kept the audience engaged and entertained throughout the program. On the special occasion, the Chief guest was presented with the memento by Sandeep Sir and Divya Ma'am. Overall, the Diwali celebration at Doon Defence Academy was a meaningful blend of culture, achievement, and camaraderie fostering a sense of unity and joy among all attendees.

डीडीए डायमंड्स ने दीपावली पर रोशन किया "एक दीया शहीदों के नाम" छात्रों ने दी शानदार रंगारंग प्रस्तुतियां विक्ट्री परेड 02 में सम्मानित हुए डीडीए डायमंड्स फ़ाइनल सलेक्शन होने वाले छात्रों को 10-10 हजार रूपये का नगद ईनाम देहरादून। संदीप सर दून डिफेंस एकेडमी में दीपावली की पूर्व संध्या पर "एक दीया शहीदों के नाम" आयोजित किया गया। इस मौके पर मुख्यातिथि वाईस एडमिरल अनुराग थपलियाल (सेनि) एवीएसएम व बीएआर ने कहा कि जब आप टीम पर भरोसा करते है तो आप लक्ष्य को जरूर हासिल करते हैं, जैसा कि डीडीए का आदर्श वाक्य है 'लक्ष्य को हर हाल में पाना है'। "एक दीया शहीदों के नाम" कार्यक्रम के मुख्यातिथि वाईस एडमिरल अनुराग थपलियाल (सेनि) एवीएसएम व बीएआर, डीडीए निदेशक संदीप गुप्ता, उपनिदेशक दिव्या गुप्ता कमांडेंट कर्नल सुधीर वर्मा (सेनि) सेंटर हेड उमेश कुनियाल, एकेडमिक हेड उदय मेहरा के साथ सभी फेकल्टी, स्टाफ व फॉउंडेशन कोर्स 02 व डीडीए के छात्रों ने "एक दीया शहीदों के नाम" रोशन कर अपना सर्वोच्च बलिदान देने वाले वीर सैनिकों को श्रद्धांजलि दी। डीडीए के निदेशक संदीप गुप्ता ने कहा ऐसे कई परिवार होंगे जिनके घर से सीमा पर उनके परिजन ने देश की रक्षा करते हुए अपना सर्वोच्च बलिदान दिया होगा और दीपावली पर उनका घर दीपक से रोशन न हो, तो दीपावली पर हम सब मिलकर उनके लिए एक दीपक जरूर जला कर उनके जज्बे और बलिदान को सेल्यूट करें। डीडीए में आयोजित दीपावली उत्सव का नाम भी 'एक दीया शहीदों के नाम'' की थीम पर मनाया गया। इस मौके पर एनडीए 153 कोर्स की मेरिट में जगह बनाने वाले डीडीए डायमंड्स प्रिया मिश्रा, स्पर्श कोटियाल, रणबीर बिष्ट, आरब, आशुतोष शर्मा व करन गौड़ को एकेडमी की परंपरा के अनुसार आशीर्वाद के रूप में 10-10 हजार रूपये का नगद ईनाम दिया गया। इस सांस्कृतिक संध्या का शुभारंभ दिव्या, श्रावणी, प्रणवी व कशिश ने सरस्वती वंदना से किया। फेकल्टी नवीन श्रीवास ने अपनी प्रस्तुति और सिद्धार्थ ने अपनी शानदार कविता से सभी को प्रभावित किया। तनुष्का व प्रगति के मैश अप डांस तथा कुणाल, कृतिका व एकांश के सोलो डांस के साथ एलपी थापा के नदिया चले चले रे, डेक कैडेट संजीव कनप्पाम के माँ पर व सोनाली के उड़ जा काले कावा गीत पर जमकर तालियां बजी। संभाव्या, जाह्नवी, तेजस्वनी, पूजा, प्रियंशी, भाविका, अंजलि व अन्वेषा के मैश अप सांग ने सभी को गुदगुदाने पर मजबूर कर दिया। कृतिका के सोलो डांस, वर्षा व निशा के डांस के साथ शुभ्राजित, वशिष्ट, प्रियांशु, अनिरुद्ध व संभाव्या के बैंड सांग को भी जमकर तारीफ मिली। कार्यक्रम के अंत में डीडीए निदेशक संदीप गुप्ता ने सभी प्रतिभागियों के साथ पापा कहते हैं बड़ा नाम गीत की प्रस्तुति दी। वहीं दूसरी ओर एनडीए, सीडीएस व एफकेट रिटर्न एग्जाम क़्वालिफ़ाइ करने वाले डीडीए डायमंड को विक्ट्री परेड 02 सम्मानित करने के साथ आशीर्वाद के रूप एक-एक हजार रूपये नगद प्रदान किये गए। एनडीए, सीडीएस व एफकेट रिटर्न एग्जाम क़्वालिफ़ाइ करने वाले डीडीए डायमंड में सचिन बॉचलिया, युवराज सिंह, कार्तिक पांडे, महेंद्र गौरा, निखिल यादव, संदीप डागर, मानव कुशवाह, आशीष आर्य, कमलेश यादव, शिवम् कुमार, अनुराग यादव, अनुपम गुप्ता व मोना रही। वहीं मॉक टेस्ट व वीकली टेस्ट में स्थान पाने वाले छात्रों में श्रेया जैन, निखिल यादव, हिमांशु यादव, विष्णु व युवी नेहरा रहे।
