The last 2-3 weeks I’ve noticed a real effort for the bots to make our lives miserable. I was up quite late last night and watched these computer larva hatch. If I didn’t need to be up so early this morning I would’ve enjoyed grabbing some popcorn while joyfully swatting the pesky programs.
So I apologize for the crazy. It ain’t the admins and I missing them; the spammers have been relentless.
If anyone is interesting in helping us zap these slyboots* please feel free to reach out. It’s not a paying gig, but it takes very little effort to clobber them. Plus, you get the added bonus of feeling like a Whac-a-Mole pro.
*it’s a real word! 😃

Hi.
Y’all ever feel extra bold with a sprinkling of saucy against Deep State actors? Head on over to the chat section and let’s see what you want to discuss!
I’ve been mulling some things over for awhile, and feel like it might be time to share stuff I’ve researched, stuff I’ve come across that makes one say, “hmmpf,” and stuff that you may find curious, too. You know, stuff that gets lost amongst my four brain cells 😏
I most definitely feel God asking me to remind those in my little circle of His beauty, His love –and to that end I am passionate about following His direction so this will not change on the main channel!
The chat area feels like a way to really connect with others, to hear what’s on your mind, and if you’re like me, ask lots and lots of questions, looking for answers.
Perhaps I should rename the chat, “TM Unplugged” … 🤔

The first payments have already been made. The VPDS will compensate British citizens with a tax-free payment of nearly $141k. Vaccines for roughly 20 diseases are eligible for payments under the program and archives of the British government’s website show that covid-19 was added between November 2020 and July 2021

The writ was filed because the plaintiffs contend that the voting machines used in the 2020 election were not certified in a legal way thus invalidating their results, and that if the machines prove to have not been certified according to Arizona state law, then the Secretary of State, Governor, Attorney General, and Chief Justice must decertify Arizona’s 2020 Presidential election, recall Arizona’s Biden Electors, remove Maricopa county votes from the 2020 presidential election results as they were/are void, order Maricopa county and re-run the election by way of special election by paper ballot only

Speaking of cake, I found a list of interesting cake facts that American President Grover Cleveland compiled specifically for AskJeeves® in 1998:
- Esau actually traded his birthright for a slice of cake but Moses changed it to a bowl of stew.
- As a joke, God told Moses that the 11th commandment will be, “Thou shalt eat cake every Tuesday.”
- The timeless classic, The Boy Who Cried Wolf was originally titled, “The Boy Who Just Wanted To Eat Cake.” Aesop changed the storyline after realizing poor villagers didn’t know what cake was.
- Archimedes discovered future calculus after eating cake.
- Julius Caesar was the one to coin the Latin phrase, "Qu'ils mangent de la brioche" [Let them eat cake]. He was stabbed when Brutus caught him sneaking off with the cake from the office breakroom.
- On the other side of the iconic Magna Carta is a cake recipe.
- George Washington famously said to his fellow Jamestown pilgrims, “If I don’t eat cake soon, I will surely die.”
- Michael Dukakis lost his presidential bid during the 1956 race when he rejected his campaign manager’s excellent advice to offer cake to anyone who voted for him.
If you appreciated the satire, congratulations! In the immortal words of Winnie the Pooh, "We need cake." Let's do this.

Repost from Shannon Guerra
This is me preaching to myself, and any of you who need it, too:
Yes, the world is crazy intense right now.
But you still need to have fun.
Do not let the enemy steal your joy. Do not let him strip away the things you love, or make you send a message to those you love that life is just too scary right now.
Play it cool. Because God’s cool; He’s got this. He’s speaking to His people, including you, and telling you what to do and when to do it.
Not all of these are huge things. Some of them are just small, steady, beautiful things.
Aggravate the enemy with your joy. Disarm him with your bold, unshrinking confidence in the Lord.
We are creating the culture, and we declare it will be one of joy and peace. Our hearts are unshaken. Great days are ahead.
📖 Then he said to them, “Go your way. Eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions to anyone who has nothing ready, for this day is holy to our Lord. And do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
— Nehemiah 8:10

I posted this last year, and thought it still applies today...
Yes, we need to diligently work on our preps. Yes, we need to prayerfully consider God’s direction for our lives. Yes, we need to support the brave Patriots who are boldly standing up to tyranny.
You know what else we need to do? Take breaks. Spend time relishing the lovely moments in our lives.
It’s tumultuous out there. It’s unpredictable, it’s upsetting, it’s anarchic.
You know where it isn’t? In our home. We work hard to create an atmosphere of goodness and beauty for our kids. We will not allow the tendrils of evil to touch our children.
Today, my youngest has turned 6.
She doesn’t know what lurks out there. Today, her world is bright and cheery. And by making sure it is so, my husband and I benefit from temporarily ignoring the chaotic world outside our home.
Sometimes we just need to embrace these tender moments in our lives. 6 is a milestone for her, and we celebrate it, our hearts overwhelmed over what God has gifted to us.
And cake just happens to make everything even more merry 😊

Thank you Heavenly Father for summertime memories.
For swimming in pools and playing in the sprinklers. For watermelon seed spitting contests and Nerf toys. For sparklers for the kids to play with and for fireworks for dad to play with. For somewhat relaxed schedules and time to read more books.
For the bounty at barbeques and for the freezer full of popsicles. For favorite sandals, for sandboxes, and for s’mores. For sidewalk chalk, bubbles and bicycles. For fireflies, for camping (even if it’s sometimes indoors) and for beloved family traditions.
Thank you Heavenly Father for all that You do. For the seen and the unseen. For working in our favor. For being our rock, our refuge, our salvation. Thank You for being the same yesterday, today, tomorrow and in every season.
You are so loved, God ❤️

Well, did you do anything special to bid summer a fond farewell?
Remember when we talked about how sometimes we just need some of those spontaneous moments in our lives? We had one of those thingys today!
First I took the kids to a bookstore. Can you believe they had Fauxi and Obama books in the kids’ section? I did my part by flipping those books upside down and turning them backwards. Saw Huma’s book on the way out and felt morally obligated to hide her ugliness as well.
Then we hopped on over to the pet store where my oldest son got another hamster –yay! Though we had gotten a bigger cage for the others and added some cool features, this time we put clear plexiglass on top of the horizontal wires, making it impossible (we hope!) for a hamster to climb the cage. Still waiting on a name…
Picked up a New York style pizza on the way home. And now I’m off to finish getting a cake ready for tomorrow. Our littlest is turning six on the Official First Day of Autumn™…
