Global Update The US House of Representatives voted to advance a bill that would authorise President Donald Trump to impose 100% tariffs on India and other countries for buying oil and gas from Russia and extend existing sanctions on Iran. -Choice Broking

Copper Update DRC Ministry of Mines said copper exports rose 4.5% YoY to a record 1.72 million tonnes in 1H2026. Under an export "diversification offensive", the DRC's copper sales to the United States and Europe doubled versus 2025 levels. Positive for copper. -Choice Broking
