Mid-day Update UK FTSE 100 falls as much as 2%. France’s 5-year CDS hits 71.6 bps, highest since July 2013. European banks fall 2.6%, while Italy’s 10-year yield hits 4.723%. DXY hits 101.81, highest since May 2025. UK 30-year gilt yield hits 5.978%, highest since February 1998. France-Germany 10-year spread widens to 128 bps, highest since 2012. Brent hits $99. WTI rises to $90.34.

There has also been small recall incident by Apotex. - Apotex's generic semaglutide is priced at $88-$125/ month across Canada (>50% discount to brand). - Generic Semaglutide price in Costco stores in Quebec is ~ $105/month. - The situation seems to benefit Dr. Reddy's Lab, which looks to be on track for Nov-26 relaunch as per it's guidance. - Additionally Dr. Reddy's two clients have also secured approval for their Semaglutide generic which has increased Dr Reddy's capability to supply high volumes in Canada. - Nuvama Note
