Hi everyone.. So lately, I was part of the Assistant Professors selection panel at university affiliate colleges. I will share my experience here- (1) panel members are allotted with different duties. (2) Mere subject knowledge of a candidate is no sure-shot way of getting a job. (3) Discussions amongst us panel members while selecting from shortlisted candidates is more effort area. All in all, subject knowledge can be your bait to a failing interview, but bouncer questions exist amongst us interviewers, to make sure we select 'better' individuals ONLY. Thanks for reading 😊🙏
