Not many particularly enjoy ‘Networking’. The media trained smiles, sweaty handshakes and artificial tone of speech leaves much to be desired. Add on the pressure to look perfect and most would rather stay home. However, it doesn’t have to be that way. Making progress is great, so let’s break down some efficient and healthy ways to do so. Instead of just going all in and eventually finding yourself in your room at 2am struggling to stay awake to finish your assignments, why not try out doing a little bit at a time? It might be difficult at first, but even a little would help reduce that 2am timing to 1am, and the more sleep you get, the better. Even staring at the assignment could help, just take that first step!

A child falls right in front of you. They go silent as their tiny hands hit the floor, but instead of crying they get up, giggling, and keep on running haphazardly. Oftentimes most people are unable to truly start their adventure in life because they’re still stuck at home. It could be that the sun was too hot, or the rain was too heavy, or maybe even the clouds were positioned just slightly off. The truth is, starting something is the hardest part of achieving anything - and we as humans make excuses for ourselves to keep us from potentially failing. We need to take a deep breath and push past our biggest enemy - ourselves - to start our journey forwards.
