3️⃣ things that will decide the Market today 📈
1) SGX NIFTY signals a negative start for the Indian Stock Market
- Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 38 points lower, at 18,312 signalling that the Indian Stock Market is headed for a negative start.
2) Mixed emotions in the US
- U.S. stocks halted on Monday after a strong rally in the previous session as investors shift focus to a key inflation reading later this week. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 55.69 points, the S&P 500 gained 0.05%, and the Nasdaq Composite added 21.50 points, at the end of the day.
3) Oil prices decline
- Oil prices fell in early trade on Tuesday, giving up strong gains from the previous two sessions as markets remain cautious ahead of U.S. inflation figures for April which will be key to the Federal Reserve's next interest rate decision.
