Why Indian Marxist Historians are Worse than Communist Historians of Soviet Russia and Maoist China
Early Indian Marxists were indoctrinated by the USSR and Chinese Communist ideologues and surpassed them in falsifying and inventing Indian history

DVG’s Bharata-Mata and Nawab Nehru’s India: The Difference Between Samskara and Stalin
DVG'S Svatantra bhārata abhinandanā stava is an inspirational, evocative and mellow bouquet of twenty-four verses composed in Vr̥ttas (metre), dedicated to Bharata-Mata. It is DVG's unparalleled rebuttal to Nehru’s Tryst of Destiny speech.
DVG gives eight adjectives describing Bharata-Mata: Jagadakhilahitē, divyatējōvibhūtē, paurānī, puṇyavāṇi, bahukulajanani, brahmavijñānadāni, bhārati and dharmadīkṣāpraśastē. Nehru couldn’t even pronounce the aforementioned synonyms of Bharata-Mata, let alone know their meanings.
DVG asks Bharata-Mata a simple question which has the power to elicit tears from a rock: “O Mother, did you suffer such prolonged and excruciating servitude in order to instil Samskara in your children?”
So, here’s another contrast: while DVG sought inspiration, guidance and solace from Bhagiratha and Sri Rama, Nehru was a confirmed mental slave of Stalin.

Nawab Nehru’s Tryst with Destiny Speech and DVG’s Svatantra-bhārata Abhinandana Stava: A Comparative Analysis
INDIA ANNOUNCED ITS POLITICAL FREEDOM IN DARKNESS. Bharatavarsha would have heralded it in the auspicious Brāhmimuhūrta.
No man was more ill-suited to deliver that momentous announcement and no man was more incapacitated to lead the country as its first Prime Minister.
Jawaharlal Nehru’s announcement of India’s freedom, known popularly as the Tryst with Destiny speech, has remained unexamined.
In the interest of our national health and civilisational integrity, it is time to objectively scrutinise the Tryst with Destiny speech. We’re already 75 years too late.
The first thing that strikes us when we take the speech as a whole is how Abhāratīya (un-Indian) it is. We fail to notice the obvious truth that Nehru delivered his speech in English and not in any Indian language.

“Never Forget that We are Hindus First and Last!” — Lala Lajpat Rai’s Resounding Message to Indian American Students
This is the full text of Lala Lajpat Rai's inspiring message and advice dated 1916 to Indian students in America. It is still relevant to large sections of our NRIs.
--
Some excerpts.
The first thing which has struck me about the Indian students in foreign countries is their lack of knowledge of the history of their country.
I would advise every Indian student to reserve three hours a week at least to the study of Indian literature or literature relating to India.
Never forget that we are Hindus. Our people have a name for grace—in bearing, in expression, in language and in manners.
It will not do to good exchange our grace with their slang. Do not imitate the ways in which they sometimes express their manliness and independence. What in them may look admirable may be outlandish in you.

Portraits of the Deracinated Indian Education System
Here is a random selection of warnings issued over a century on the long-term cultural damage inflicted by English education.
--
This is not education, it is spiritual emasculation. The conduct of our intellectual elite avoiding leadership, but desperately eager to serve in the family court of Smt Sonia Gandhi, is testimony to this. Just go to 10 Janpath where Smt Sonai Gandhi holds court, and you will see a glut of convent school and Doon School products. 📑💪🛕🙏🪔

A Glimpse into the Indian American Community in the Early 20th Century: A Tale Optimism, Sincerity and Disquiet
The first part of a series offering a peek into the conditions of the Indian American community in the early 20th Century.
---
This is an extremely valuable piece of recent history. It tell us first hand, the character and ideals and lifestyles of Indians who migrated to America back then.
IN 1911, SARANGADHAR DAS, an academic at UC Berkeley wrote a 11-page essay titled, Why Must We Emigrate to the United States of America?
This is what he writes in that essay: "We will never tolerate the Anglo-Indians and their Indian sycophants to control the strings of our purse."

Our school textbooks still don’t mention the role of the Communists in sabotaging the Indian freedom struggle and their open, candid support for the creation of Pakistan.
The same holds true for the fact that our textbooks do not mention how the Indian Communist parties welcomed and celebrated China’s invasion of Tibet and its war against India in 1962.

[PHOTOESSAY] An Eyewitness Describes the Profound Learning Atmosphere of the Kangri Gurukula Academy in 1913
Founded in 1901-2, the Kangri Gurukula Academy near Hardwar, was inspired by the Gurukula ideal. It was originally the brainchild of Swami Dayananda Saraswati, which was concretised by Lala Munshi Ram.
---
Swami Dayanand Saraswati came to the irresistible conclusion that a defective system of education was chiefly responsible for our social degradation. The saint argued that for our future well-being and for the creation of a class of physically, morally and spiritually strong citizens, the revival of the Gurukula system of education was urgently needed.
Some of his admirers with Lala Munshi Ram at the head, established in 1901, a Gurukula near Kangri.
The students live in the company of their Gurus for a period of over 16 years, when it is easier for the teachers to teach morality both by precept and example to the Brahmacharis. A band of self-sacrificing, zealous teachers is capable of achieving more than a cartload of text-books on the subject.
Above all, look at the pictures of this Gurukula shot in 1913. Compare the degradation that has occurred in our educational system today. 📑🕉🙏🛕🪔

Travelling with Tantu: Dr. S.L. Bhyrappa’s Contemporary Epic
The first episode of a multipart analysis of Dr. S.L. Bhyrappa's 1993 epic novel, "Tantu" in Kannada.
---
Tantu (Strand or Thread) easily earns the high distinction of being a modern epic. Few novelists have explored the history of India from Independence to the Emergency with such precision, brilliance and insight as Dr. Bhyrappa. No hidden nook or crevice of our national body and soul escapes its piercing searchlight.
Above all, it is the story of the Hindu civilisation which had the misfortune of getting entrapped in the body politic of Indian democracy.

Rank materialism was the only yardstick that the British colonialists had used to assess India’s civilization.
They had institutionalized deception, trickery and treachery in commercial transactions. We continued to remain naïve.

Simply SPB: In Fond Remembrance
S.P. BALASUBRAMANIAM WOULD HAVE TURNED 77 yesterday if was still with us. His voice has stilled but his music will outlive the voice.
This is my tribute to him.
---
In the realm of cinema music or playback singing, SPB is akin to air. He is… everywhere.
It is not an exaggeration to claim that there are at least ten SPB songs being played at a given moment throughout the world in multiple languages and genres.
For half a century, SPB strode the world of cinema music like a giant. His voracious musical appetite digested and owned languages and forms and delivered the same melodic quality with the unerring consistency of majestic rivers that know exactly which sea they need to merge into.
This is something no playback singer before him had done and none will do in the future given that there’s nothing called “music” anymore in Indian filmdom.
