This image appeared in a book collecting the works of the Mary Nardini Gang in 2019. It became a popular meme. In fact, it repurposes the same Thomas Nast cartoon as a flyer the anarchist group Up Against the Wall Motherfucker made in the 1960s. The sentences doled out in the Prairieland case today are horrific. Des was sentenced to 30 years in prison for moving a box of zines. There is no pretense of "justice" here. The judge said, “the state wants to send a message to anyone who shares a similar ideology.” https://crimethinc.com/prairieland The Prairieland defendants will appeal their convictions, but the entire court system is rotten—especially in Texas. We must completely discredit the tyranny of ICE and Donald Trump, creating a situation in which anyone who succeeds Trump is compelled to pardon those who suffered under Trump.

One of the 15 defendants in Minnesota indicted on "Antifa" charges for allegedly standing up to ICE is simply accused of writing an article we published about the murder of Renee Good. This video shows a Tesla on autopilot accelerating into a house on June 19. It killed a woman who was minding her own business inside. Billionaires face no consequences for their actions. This poses a tremendous threat to the general public—not just because they can get away with selling lethally unsound technologies, but also because they promote lethally unsound ideologies. It is no coincidence that the world's first trillionaire is a Sieg-Heiling proponent of white supremacy and fascism. Only a totalitarian would want to have millions of times as much power as everyone else. Everyone must choose: capitalism and tyranny or egalitarianism and revolutionary social change. 🏴

Today, the US Attorney's Office in Minneapolis and Homeland Security Investigations announced "Antifa" charges against accused anti-ICE protesters. In short, after ICE murdered people in the streets, they want to pretend that those who stood up to ICE represent the real threat to the public. Having failed to overcome the united community response to Operation Metro Surge, Trump's toadies are now attempting to divide and conquer—purporting to support the right to protest while targeting those they designate "Antifa." The 15 people charged are alleged to be participants in Direct Action Minnesota. The goal of these charges is to intimidate people out of standing up for each other when federal agents descend on a community to do violence to it. Make no mistake, this prosecution is directed at all who do not welcome authoritarianism. If it succeeds, they will repeat the strategy again, targeting more people.
