Patient might have increased his alcohol intake because it improves his tremers, so in that case tell him that he should reduce Alcohol consumption to social limits and we will help him for his benign essential tremor by some medicine. 👉 *IMPORTANT 583* 👈 Water pills ( thiazide diuretics can cause/aggrevate hyperuricemia ) so please be aware in scenario of joint pain ( specially gout ). Specifically ask about any history of high blood pressure and if positive then ask are you taking any water pills. If patient is taking water pills you have to stop them and refer the patient back to the doctor who is treating the hypertension and suggest for replacement of antihypertensive medicine. If you will not do it, you may loose marks in clinical judgement.. Good Luck
