CM Shri Devendra Fadnavis Tweets: Towards A More Organised Dairy Ecosystem Chaired a meeting of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) in Mumbai today. NDDB has developed test strips to strengthen quality assessment in dairy products. Directed that an advanced mechanism using artificial intelligence be developed in collaboration with NDDB and IITs to further enhance quality monitoring and assurance. Currently, around 40% of milk in the state is processed through the organised sector, while the remaining comes from the unorganised sector. Emphasised bringing more producers and villages into the organised dairy network. Set a target to connect 75,000 new villages to the cooperative system across the country, which will benefit farmers and further strengthen quality standards. CMO Maharashtra Tweets: दुग्ध गुणवत्ता अधिक सक्षम करण्यासाठी तंत्रज्ञानाचा वापर; एआय आधारित यंत्रणेला चालना! मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली आज मुंबई येथे राष्ट्रीय दुग्ध विकास महामंडळाची (NDDB) बैठक पार पडली. राज्यात दुग्धजन्य पदार्थांची गुणवत्ता अधिक बळकट करण्यासाठी राष्ट्रीय डेअरी विकास बोर्डाने टेस्ट स्ट्रिप विकसित केली आहे. यासोबतच गुणवत्ता तपासणी अधिक प्रभावी करण्यासाठी राष्ट्रीय डेअरी विकास बोर्ड व आयआयटी यांच्या सहकार्याने कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्तेवर आधारित यंत्रणा विकसित करण्याचे निर्देश मुख्यमंत्री फडणवीस यांनी दिले. राज्यात सध्या सुमारे 40% दूध संघटित क्षेत्रातून प्रक्रिया केले जाते, तर उर्वरित दूध असंघटित क्षेत्रातून येते. त्यामुळे अधिकाधिक उत्पादक आणि गावांना संघटित डेअरी व्यवस्थेत समाविष्ट करण्यावर शासनाचा भर आहे. देशभरात 75,000 नवीन गावे सहकारी व्यवस्थेत जोडण्याचे उद्दिष्ट ठेवण्यात आले असून, यामुळे शेतकऱ्यांना अधिक लाभ मिळण्यासोबतच गुणवत्ता व्यवस्थापन अधिक सक्षम होणार आहे. दूध गुणवत्ता तपासणीसाठी विकसित करण्यात आलेली टेस्ट स्ट्रिप यूरिया तसेच इतर घटक ओळखण्यास सक्षम असून, पुढील 6 महिन्यांत ती पूर्णपणे कार्यान्वित होणार असल्याचे मुख्यमंत्री फडणवीस यांनी नमूद केले. राष्ट्रीय डेअरी विकास बोर्डचे अध्यक्ष मीनेश शाह व इतर मान्यवर उपस्थित होते. #Maharashtra #Mumbai #DevendraFadnavis #DairyDevelopment

CM Shri Devendra Fadnavis Tweets: Powering Maharashtra’s Future: Boost to Pumped Storage Projects Presided over the MoU signing and exchange between the Government of Maharashtra (Water Resources Department) and Shree Tatyasaheb Kore Warana Sahakari Navshakti Nirman Sanstha Ltd. in Mumbai today for setting up three Pumped Storage Hydropower Projects in the State. These projects will attract an investment of around ₹5199 crore and create a generation capacity of 1100 MW, along with 1100 employment opportunities. This initiative will strengthen Maharashtra’s energy capacity and enable large-scale, cost-effective energy storage, contributing to grid stability. Maharashtra has already crossed 80,000 MW milestone in pumped storage projects and continues to make strong progress in the renewable energy sector. With rising power demand in the coming years, especially due to expanding infrastructure and data centres, such projects will play a crucial role in meeting future energy needs. The Warana Group has demonstrated strong performance across sectors and is expected to play a significant role in the energy sector as well. The State Government will extend necessary support to such projects, adopting a positive approach towards their development.
