I watched a lion eat a man like a piece of fruit, peel tendons from fascia
like pith from rind, then lick the sweet meat from its hard core of bones.
The man had earned this feast and his own deliciousness by ringing a stick
against the lion's cage, calling out Here, Kitty Kitty, Meow!
With one swipe of a paw much like a catcher's mitt with fangs, the lion
pulled the man into the cage, rattling his skeleton against the metal bars.
The lion didn't want to do it—
He didn't want to eat the man like a piece of fruit and he told the crowd
this: I only wanted some goddamn sleep . . .

እሸሻለሁ! ከብዙ ነገር....
ከሞት እሸሻለሁ። መኖር ያስበረግገኛል።
ከማጣት እሸሻለሁ። ማግኘትን እሸሻለሁ። እሷን እሸሻለሁ። ከእሷ መለየትን እሸሻለሁ።
አካል ለበስ ፍርሃት ነኝ። በመፈለግና ባለመፈለግ መሐል ሰፋሪ ነኝ። ምናልባትም መሸሽን መኖር ብዬ የያዝሁ.... ጉዞዬ ክብ መሆኑን አልታዘበውም። የምሸሸውን ዞሬ ከፊቴ ሲመራኝ አገኘዋለሁ። ወደሽሽቴ ጉያ ሮጣለሁ።

የገፋሁት ገላዋ ከሩቅ ውልብልታው ይታየኛል። የሚታየኝ ጀርባዋ ይሁን ፊቷ አላውቅም። እየሄደች ይሁን እየመጣች እንጃ ..... ብቻ አያታለሁ። እርግጠኛ የምሆነው እሷነቷ ላይ ብቻ ነው። በፋናዋ የምለያት ናት።
ዝም ብዬ ሚራዧን እታዘባለሁ። ሌላ አይነት ሽሽት፤ ዝምታ! ስሜት አልባ መታዘብ። ፋናዋ ይቀርበኛል። በዝምታ ርቀዋለሁ። ይርቀኛል በዝምታ አቀርበዋለሁ።

የሽሽት ሥጋዊ ገጽታ ነኝ።
እሸሻለሁ!
ፖለቲካ ያንገሸግሸኛል። ።ኮሚዩኒዝም ሆነ ካፒታሊዝም ከኮረዳ እቅፍ ይልቃሉ? ከጠይም ሳቅ ይገዝፋሉ? የጥርሷ መገለጥ ከአብዮት ፍንዳታ በላይ ብርሃን ይፈልቅበታል። ከእዚህች ልጅ ፍቅር የሚበልጥ ሪቮሉሽን አለ? እንጃ... መጽሐፍቱ ከቨር ላይ ያለው ራሰ በራው ሠውዬ ያ ኢሊች ሌኒን የሚሉት ይህቺን የግራ ፖለቲካ ያልተጠመቀች ሣቅ ርዕዮተ ዓለሟ የሆነች ጠይም ሴት አያውቃትም።
ወደምንቀው ፖለቲካ በሽሽቴ ተጠለፌ እወድቃለሁ። ለማንቋሸሽ በማነባቸው ቀያይ እና ቡላማ የኮሚኒስት መጻሕፍት የጭቆና ተንታኝ እሆናለሁ። ግን አይነግሩኝም አየህ የድሃ ሀገር ፖለቲካ መሠረቱ ጭቆና እንደሆነ...! ከቨራቸውን አሳምረው ሽታቸው ወርቅ የሆነ እነዛ መጻሕፍት በምሸሸው ነገር እየተሳብሁ እንደሆነ... መፈለጌን እና አለመፈለጌን እያስተሳሰሩ ዳያሌቲክስ ቅብርጥሶ በሚል ትብታብ ሥር አሰማምረው ሲጽፉልኝ ይሄን አይነግሩኝም። ግን እንደነሱ ዳያሌክቲክስ ብናወራ እውነትም የምሸሸውን እየተከተልሁ ነው።

እየሄደች እንደሆነ አስብና ልቤ ይፈራል። ልቤን እንዲሸኛት ስልከው አብሮ ይቀራል። የቁራ መላክተኛ ነው። ይዘሽ ነይ እንድላት ታክቲክ መሆኑ ነው። እንዴት ሠው በአንድ ገላ ሁለት ይሆናል! ትንሽዬ የራሴ ዳያሌክት ፈጠርሁ ማለት አይደል?
እያየኋት ይህቺን በውል የማትታየኝን ፊት ትሁን ጀርባ ፌርዌል እሰድላታለሁ።

መሸሼ አይቆምም!
ሕዝብ መሆን እሸሻለሁ። መቆዘም ወደሚመርጥ ባለትልልቅ ቡትሌ ድራፍት እና የፈረንጅ ካቲካላ ቤት እደበቃለሁ። ሶበር ሆኜ ያራቅሁትን ሕዝብነት ከእኔን መሰል ድንጉጥ ግለኞች ጋር ተቀላቅዬ የጠርሙስ ማሕበር እፈጥራለሁ።
ሌላ ሕዝብ!
ቺርስ! ግጭ! ስለፍርሃት እንጠጣ።

እሩቅ የማያት ፋና ምናልባትም ታክቷት የቆመች፤ ያቀፍኋት። ያቀፈችኝ። እሷ! የእስከለመይቴው ፍላጎቴ የዘለዓለም ሽሽቴ እየሄደች ነው!
ብጠየቅ እንዳላጣት ነው የተውኋት ብዬ እዋሻለሁ።
ምናልባት ልክ እሆን ይሆናል። ዞሮ መሞት ካልቀረ አይነት ይህቺን ዕድሜ የሚሏትን ጳጉሜ ታህል ዘመኔን ባለመኖር መግፋት....! ተስፋን መጣል!
ፋናዋ አይንቀሳቀስም። ፊቴን አዙሬ ብራመድ እየሄደች የማያትን እየመጣች እንደማገኛት ከመንገዴ አውቃለሁ። የክብ ተጽዕኖ አለብኝ!

ደህና ሁኚ ውቢት!
በምሸሸው እቅፍ እወድቃለሁ
መኖሬ ስለሞት እንሆነ አውቃለሁ
የማይቀር ሽሽቴ ሲወስደኝ
ከተራራው አናት ላይ በአበቦች እቅፍ ቅበሪኝ
ደህና ሁኚ ውቢት!
ተረኞች በዚያ የሚልፉ
ወደሚሸሹት ሚጣደፉ
ወጪ ወራጁ ሁሉ አበባውን እያስተዋሉ
መውደቄን ውብ ነው ይላሉ
እዪልኝ ይህንን ክቤን ፈርሶ ሌላ ክብ ሲሰራ
የምሸሸውን ሞት ሞቼ የምሸሸው ሕይወት ሲዘ'ራ።

As usual we kick off with movement to break the ice & release the butterflies by Heran's Yoga followed by Heran's Poetry.
We have an English line-up with poems & songs for the first 1/2 & prepare to be surprised with Open Mic in any language & any format for the second half of the program.
Malaika African Grill provides the space, the drinks & finger foods, barbecue, grill & vegan options.
Also will there be African-made design bags by ደግ ፳፯ ፋውንዴሽን - Deug 27 Foundation and African clothing for sale.

ተጣብቆ ሲደርቅ - ባለበት ፀና!
