​It just hit me how hilarious our house is.....because most things in it is either older than me or the exact same age😭😂 ​ትንሿ ረከቦት is older, the ምጣድ is older and even our fridge has been around longer than I have lol...... It turns out my parents moved into a new house just a few months before I was born, so they bought a bunch of brand new things..... Honestly, since I was the first daughter after 8 or 9 years of having two boys and everything else being new, they really should’ve just named me አዲስ😁 ​I love how moms keep their የቤት እቃ in perfect condition forever....... They will literally serve you water in a glass that is twice your age...... I've also been asking my parents how old the things are and how much they bought it back then...... It’s crazy to hear the prices fr......money has lost so much value over the years, it’s actually sad...... But thanks to our superhero parents...... we still get to use all these things with so much history! We still eat from that special plate (በዓል ሲሆን ወይም እንግዳ ሲኖር የሚወጣው😂) that is half my age.​.......We still use the big ድስት they bought for my ክርስትና......We still use the bedsheets my older brother peed on as a kid,......and if a guest is cold, they get the exact ጋቢ my parents got as a wedding gift🤧 ​In a Habesha home, things just last forever i guess and every single item has a story❤️

Mom got this tiny cute ጀበና for aesthetics and to store ready made coffee so she can just heat it up on the afternoon or for someone who didn't get to drink......since we usually drink in the morning after breakfast and such...... thought it was so cute like it can only hold 2 cups max and whenever I see it I always say "ewshu ስታምር" and stuff Then ketegeza after a few days, the ጀበና committed a suicide💀(it cracked widely right on the stove)........ and my mom said "ያንቺ ዓይን ነው የሰበራት"......like whattt?!.......
