 Oof. Good question. I have different attachment styles with different people. Or rather categories of people, I guess.

 Partly, yes. I think it being media kind of abstracts the real world things that some conversations are about. Take dating content on social media for example. If someone is deep into that area of social media, their takes on dating are probably gonna lose touch with reality (not all but most, there are still reasonable takes there). I'm not sure why this is yet, but I've seen it happen a lot. Even with myself.
