Went to the Micheal movie today. There was an event along with it where MJ's music was played before the movie. I had so much fun. The movie itself, as a movie, sucks because it had no over arching themes and repeats story beats and character arcs. It also ignores his brothers and some really cool facts that they could have shown like how Eddie Van Halen's solo was acquired Beat It. Also how difficult it was to actually get MTV to get Micheal on heavy rotation and how influential it was for them to do so. (See here if you want to know more about that) But either way, if you're a fan, you will enjoy the movie, it truly feels like a concert especially if you are watching with other fans (I became an even bigger fan after the movie and I didn't even think it was possible lmfaooooo). Also worth mentioning is the fact that the music is amazing and Jaafar Jackson, Coleman Domingo, and Miles Teller had amazing performances. If you're a fan, definitely go watch it.
