I just saw this. I also hear everyone saying AI is here. But there are still people who can't read, and millions who can't even write well. So, what portion of the world do you think can use AI effectively? Also, humans are the ones who know different technologies and bring them all together. We can't deny AI is a threat to software engineering, but AI can't handle a business on its own. There are many areas where humans still outperform AI significantly. Nowadays, I don't think people need to learn syntax, but you do have to learn how to design systems from scratch. Don't be doomed by the slight fear that people whisper.
Who ever said that stop radiating negative energy the community 😏

One thing that used to confuse me was the difference between authentication and authorization. They sound similar, but they mean two completely different things.
Authentication answers the questionThis distinction finally clicked for me, and I hope it helps someone else too. @DEV_MERA: "Who are you?"Think about "Sign in with Google." When you log in using your Google account, Google verifies your identity. That's authentication—it confirms that you are who you claim to be. Authorization answers the question:"What are you allowed to do?"For example, imagine you're logged into a website and try to access the admin dashboard. If you see a message like "Not Authorized", it means the website knows who you are, but your account doesn't have permission to access that page. First, a system authenticates you. Then, it authorizes what you're allowed to access.

Hope these videos help you with your system design interviews or just deepen your understanding.
If you know better resources, feel free to share them in the comments so others can benefit as well. Learning together always works better.

This year, life has taught me lessons I'll never forget. The first one I want to share with everyone is this:
Don't wait for someone to come into your life and blow the whistle for you. Don't wait for permission. Don't wait until everything is perfectly clear.Start anyway even if the path is uncertain, even if you don't have all the answers. Just hit the road.@DEV_MERA

AYO, we're finally done with this little summer break. 🙌
And I'm back with the one thing I never really wanted to change but ended up changing anyway from SANTIA_DIL to DEV_MERA. New username. New profile picture (pic mine anyways 😁).
So yeah... we're back.
Expect random thoughts, coding stuff, late-night ideas, and whatever else pops into my head. Let's have some fun. @DEV_MERA
