If you're grinding trades on Solana (memecoins, bots, whatever)…
Every time you buy a new token, Solana creates an Associated Token Account (ATA) for it in your wallet.
When you sell everything and the balance goes to 0, that account still exists — and ~0.002–0.003 SOL remains locked in it forever as "rent" (to keep the account alive on the blockchain).
This adds up FAST if you're flipping a lot (or using bots that create many accounts). People easily leave 1–5+ SOL sitting dead across dozens/hundreds of empty accounts.
