Been learning how to use Figma with AI recently, so I thought I would put my skills to work here. I watched the launch video of the Gram wallet frame by frame multiple times to be able to replicate the mockup design of the wallet. 10 different screens/actions were shown in the video, and I recreated them with Figma.

Durov just announced it's ready and already in the hands of a select group of users, with a gradual rollout to a billion+ people over the next couple of weeks. Today is the 31st of August. The last day of summer. He promised it this summer, and he shipped it with just a few hours left. He thanked the validators who approved the smart contract, and said future upgrades won't require painful migrations. The wallet's code doesn't live in your account. It sits inside TON's network configuration, shared by every user at once. When it is improved once, everyone's wallet improves at the same moment, with nothing to update and nothing to migrate. I’ll break it down for you based on what I know and what I have known these past few months.

OMG 😳 Durov just said a non-custodial Gram Wallet is coming for all Telegram users. Gave y’all the hint.

Here's basically how it works: you submit the username on our form in hoton.tg (live soon), transfer the channel/group to our Hoton account (powered by Teleton), place the first bid, that’s all. The moment your bid lands, ownership is automatically transferred back to you. That transfer is the only manual step; everything else runs on its own. Why the transfer? Minting a Telegram username needs temporary full ownership of the channel/group it lives on, which is also why personal account usernames aren't supported yet (more complicated + security concerns). Will see if that can be integrated in the future. If you miss the bid window, your channel/group still comes back automatically. But re-submitting that same username costs a small penalty fee, this is just to prevent people from spamming the system. So if you've got a username you want to convert, get ready: - The username must be on a channel/group for 14+ days - 2FA must be enabled & unchanged for the last 7 days - At least 10 $GRAM in your wallet (10 for the bid + gas fee) This will be free for a while when it goes live, then we may introduce a fee later in the future for the service.

The quality of the gif is low because it was overly compressed from a video due to the large size. As y’all know, my uploads are usually crisp & in 4K 😏… so this even irks me 😣 Will figure out a way to convert videos to gifs without losing quality.
