Based is distributing ~$50,000 in creator rewards across two tracks for Based Alpha on Robinhood Chain. 1. Main Pool: $30,000 in USDG Rewards will be allocated pro rata, based on each qualifying token’s total trading volume relative to all qualifying tokens during the campaign period. To qualify, a token must: • Graduate from its bonding curve during the campaign period; • Have at least 20 unique holders at the moment of graduation (excluding the bonding curve contract, liquidity pool, and deployer); • Generate at least $300,000 in total trading volume on its graduated Alpha Liquidity Pool during the campaign period. • Achieve at least $500k market cap for at least 24 hours • Campaign period: 21 July 00:00 UTC to 3 August 23:59 UTC. Rewards will be sent in USDG to the deployer wallet of each qualifying token. 2. RWA Bonus Track: $20,000 Robinhood Chain is built for RWAs, not just memes, and we want to reward innovation beyond them. We have set aside an additional $20,000 in $BASED tokens (230,000 BASED at a ~$0.088 reference price) for projects with an innovative use case that incorporate Robinhood Stock Tokens. To qualify, a project’s Alpha Liquidity Pools must generate at least $300,000 in total trading volume during the campaign period. Rewards will be distributed pro rata based on each qualifying project’s generated volume on Based Alpha. We have completed the patch for a mechanics issue on Based Alpha that was discovered yesterday. The issue affected 23 pre-bonded tokens that graduated between 18:00 and 21:00 UTC on 18 July 2026. Testing is complete and monitoring continues. Token creation on Based Alpha has been re-enabled, and creators can start launching coins again. The issue was isolated to Based Alpha, our newly launched product on Robinhood Chain. All other Based products, including the Based App, trading terminal, and Visa Card, were never affected. As promised, every affected user will be made whole. We reconstructed the state of all 23 affected curves at the block immediately before the issue. Each curve held a real, finite pool of ETH backing its token. Compensation is based on each wallet's pro-rata share of that actual pre-issue ETH backing, distributed by token balance. This means every affected user receives their exact share of the real ETH that was held on the curve. On top of this, we are adding a 50% bonus for compensation. If your share of the backing before the issue was 0.1 ETH, 0.15 ETH has been sent directly to your address. No claim is required. Thank you for your patience. Based Alpha is in rapid development. Earlier today we identified a bug in the graduation mechanism on Based Alpha, our new product launched on Robinhood this week. The issue was caused by bid-side graduation liquidity, which was meant to cushion sells and create tokens with better support. Someone took advantage of this mechanism. It was used against 23 tokens across two blocks before we contained it. We contained the issue and disabled the affected flow within the hour. The total loss from this incident is contained at less than 5 ETH. A permanent fix and an independent review are underway and will be completed within the next 24 hours. Every affected user will be made whole. We have reconstructed the affected users on-chain and will publish the compensation details and timeline shortly. Tokens that graduated before 18 July, 6 PM GMT are not affected. All other Based products, such as the Based App and Visa Card, are fully operational and were never affected.
