Freight spending increased 9.1% vs. July 2025, but growth slowed from 11.2% in June.
📉 Compared with June, spending fell 2.2% in July, mainly because less freight was moved.
Rates increased slightly, but not enough to offset the decline in shipment volumes.

The Cass Truckload Linehaul Index rose 2.3% MoM in July and 8.6% YoY.

The Cass Freight Index shipments component fell 4.8% YoY in July, following a 4.1% decline in June.
