The XRP Ledger’s permission delegation upgrade has entered its 14-day activation countdown, with activation possible as early as 5 October.
The upgrade would allow account holders to authorise another account to perform specific tasks without sharing their private keys. Permissions can be updated or revoked, giving users greater control over who can do what on their behalf.
Activation remains subject to validator support staying above 80% throughout the countdown.
