Graduation party 2023 June 30th! Here is the schedule of the event: ⚡️ 19:00 - Ceremony on the square near the Research Building, where congratulations and farewell words will be given by the university administration. Please note that gowns will be given only (!) to Master's and Specialist's graduates in aud. G1.01 of the NIC. Entrance will be through the assembly gate from 17:00. ⚡️ 19:30 - 22:00 - Musical holiday which will be held at various venues on campus: 🔺Venue No. 1 (main stage near the New research building) - popular music 🔺Pitch No. 2 (stage near the First Corps) - jazz 🔺Playground number 3 (stage near the Polytech Tower) - DJ set. 🔺Also there will be sport activities, photo zones, snack zone etc. The congratulations from Institutes will take place from June, 28th till July, 10th. Please check with your institutions' directorates for more information.

⚙ Polytechnic Institute created the first Russian software for metal 3D printing SPbPU scientists have developed the first Russian software for 3D-printers working with metals. ✅ This is the first Russian development of its kind. The software can be used in the aviation industry, in shipbuilding and in the metallurgical industry. The software can be used to print different products depending on the needs of a particular company: a rocket body, a ship propeller, a battery casing – almost anything. SPbPU student from Tanzania: «Polytech is the best place for an international student in St. Petersburg» 🎓Albright Temba came to Russia three years ago, studying at the Institute of Biomedical Systems and Biotechnology. His program is about biomedical machines, technology in general, which is a mixture of physics and biology. 🔬 At the time of his arrival in Russia, he knew only English and Swahili well, but has actively begun studying Russian and French. 🖇️ In an interview with the SPbPU International Office, Albright Temba described the challenges he faced and why he was so happy he chose Polytechnic.
