● Improved the search scope menu, the message read and reaction lists and the story viewer list, which now match the font, spacing and position of other menus
● Improved the local archive of deleted messages and edit history, which is now encrypted on disk, requires unlocking when a local passcode is set and warns you before a logout without unlocking makes it unreadable
● Improved scrolling in large chats, which now spends less time drawing the blurred bars and detecting message languages, and jumping to the latest message now ends with a smooth animation that keeps the last message above the input field
● Removed the title bar frame rate display and its appearance setting; viewing the window's frame rate is no longer available
● Improved search results and suggestions, whose highlights and dividers now use the same rounded insets as the chat list
● Fixed an issue with the login and passcode lock screens that previously caused the window's rounded corners to appear square
● Improved spoiler animations, which now redraw only when the particles move and use less CPU while idle
● Fixed an issue with popup menus that previously caused the shadow around their rounded corners to be cut off
● Added a local theme list, so you can now keep imported themes as previews after the built-in themes and delete them when they are no longer needed
● Changed the built-in themes; only Simple White and Simple Black remain, and a previously selected Day theme switches to Simple White
● Changed how the Acrylic and Blur window backgrounds look; they now show the system effect directly without an extra color layer over the title bar
● Improved accent colors, which now apply consistently to scrollbars, the selected chat, service messages and the window frame, while the system accent color option turns the Windows accent color into a softer shade that stays readable in both themes and follows its changes without resetting the chat wallpaper
● Removed the window title bar settings for showing the chat name, active account and total unread count and for using the system window frame; customizing the window title or frame is no longer available
● Changed how automatic media download works; it is now off by default in private chats, groups and channels, GIFs follow the GIF autoplay setting, and manually changed size limits are kept
● Changed how accent colors apply to Simple Black; its background now stays a neutral #212121, and the title bar and input fields no longer turn darker with darker accents

Upgrading on macOS and Linux [v2.0.36]
This release changes where user data is stored on macOS and Linux:
● macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/stelliberty/data
● Linux: ~/.local/share/stelliberty/data
Automatically migrating the old location would mean carrying compatibility code through every future release, which would make the app increasingly hard to maintain and more prone to issues. After weighing this, we decided not to migrate automatically this time. We apologize for the inconvenience and ask you to reinstall once as follows:
1. Uninstall service mode in the old version.
2. Back up your data in Settings > Data Management, and save the backup file outside the app's installation location, such as your desktop.
3. Exit the app completely and uninstall the old application package.
4. Install the current version, then restore the backup file in Settings > Data Management.
Once everything works as expected, you can delete the old data directory: Stelliberty.data next to the app on macOS, /opt/stelliberty.data on Linux (along with /opt/stelliberty if it remains after uninstalling), or stelliberty.data next to the AppImage.
Windows is not affected and requires no action.
