The difference between a Constitutional Republic and a democracy. Remember this every time you hear the democrats crying about losing our "democracy".

Tonight I went out to hear a friend of mine play a live show, something I haven’t done in many years. Even before Covid I had stopped going out because of my focus on my health. My best songs I ever wrote were co-written with this friend and I used to love to perform with him. This was his closing song tonight and I couldn’t hear every lyric perfectly, but I was moved by what I could hear and wanted to share it with you guys. I won’t include his name to stay anonymous, but I loved the lyric, “we’re at our best when our backs are against the wall.” And I think that he might have been talking about the media with the earlier lyric that was about how we are treated like children. I told him after the show that I want a copy of these lyrics so I can look at them closely. Before I left he said he would like to start writing songs with me again and that brought me great joy.

Well, surprise surprise, the debate was a disaster for Biden and then magically the media is all perfectly in sync with each other that there should be a different Democrat candidate. I literally fell asleep in the last half hour of the debate. I couldn’t physically stay awake.
