Royalties — are basically a % fee from every resale on the secondary market that goes straight back to the NFT Collection creator. This allows creators to earn from their art in the long run, not just a one-time profit during the primary sale.

⚠️ Important: domains and usernames A frequent question is: "If I mint a domain, do I get royalties when it's resold?" Nope. 😑👉🏻🚪 Registering a domain doesn’t make you the “creator” of the asset — you’re simply claiming a name onchain within an existing collection. Royalties are credited to the creator of the Collection. If an NFT is added to an already existing collection, the reward goes to its creator, not the owner of the NFT itself.

Since yesterday there has been a lot of discussion within the community about the recent marketplace incident. We understand users’ concerns and want to openly explain what happened and what steps we’re taking moving forward. Malicious activity involving the use of a fake token in NFT transactions was identified. The attacker took advantage of a combination of factors, including victims approving transactions without noticing the token details, as well as insufficient restrictions around third-party tokens. The issue was quickly contained and fully resolved. The attack vector has been closed, and marketplace activity is operating normally. According to our data, the incident affected four transactions. We will absolutely do everything within our power to support the affected users. We would also like to get in touch with the current holder of the NFTs connected to this incident to discuss the situation and possible ways to resolve it. We are open to a constructive dialogue through any communication channel convenient for him including support inbox, anonymous messages to wallet, or any other.

Additional security changes are now being rolled out: • disabling support for third-party tokens outside of relevant collections; • strengthening warnings and additional security checks during transactions; • keeping USDT trading available while adding extra layers of protection; • working with wallet teams to ensure suspicious or potentially dangerous transactions are flagged more clearly and obvious before a user signs them.

Getgems is a decentralized application. We do not hold custody over user assets and cannot reverse blockchain transactions once they have been signed. That’s why it’s especially important to carefully review every transaction before confirming it — including the token, amount, recipient address, and transaction terms — especially when high-value assets are involved. As more attention returns to the TON ecosystem, we are also seeing increased activity from scammers, fake tokens, and other malicious schemes. We strongly encourage users to stay vigilant and carefully verify any suspicious offers or transactions. User safety remains our priority. 📦 How to make a Telegram Gift truly yours? A regular Gift is tied to a Telegram account. To get full control and turn it into personal property, you need to move it to the blockchain: • Transfer the gift to Getgems (via @gemsrelayer). It’s still offchain, but now it's on your wallet. • The Gift is locked for 14 days for security; after that, the "Mint Gift" button will appear (this turns the Gift into an NFT). • The Gift becomes an NFT in your personal wallet — you own it on the blockchain. 🔗 How to turn an offchain Gift from Getgems into an NFT? (mint) If your offchain Gift is already on Getgems, you can send it to the blockchain: • Click "Mint Gift" on the Gift page or in multi-select mode. • Important: the Gift is locked for 14 days after using @gemsrelayer (the timer will show the date). • The NFT lands in your wallet. Now you are the owner of a blockchain asset.

🎁 How to display a Gift from Getgems in Telegram? It all depends on its status: For offchain: if the Gift is in your Getgems profile (or sent via @gemsrelayer), click "Withdraw a Gift". You'll get it via the bot and can add it to your profile. For onchain: if it's already an NFT in your wallet, go to Fragment.com (My Assets → Gifts). Select "Displayed in: Wallet" and click Save. The Gift will appear in Telegram without KYC, staying in your wallet. Gift Transfer: if you want to move an NFT Gift to your Telegram account, select "Transfer to Telegram" on Fragment.com. Fragment may request KYC for this.
