Companies must apply for one specific project. 1  Introduction Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation (ECWC) is an autonomous public body established by virtue of the Council of Ministers Regulation No.366/2015 to deliver constructions overseas and domestic construction works in the area of highway, Air field, dam and irrigation, water supply, hydropower construction projects. Ethiopian construction works Corporation has established its head office at Addis Ababa city, Yeka sub city Around Gurd sholla. ECWC has been undertaking various construction projects in all geographic regions of the country. With regard to various Construction works it undertakes, the corporation seeks companies/firms with technical competency to work with ECWC on various construction projects across the country. Therefore, Ethiopian Construction works Corporation (ECWC) invites proficient, eligible, reputed companies/firms having the appropriate license to undertake construction works in the above captioned projects. Firms are able to show an updated license Equivalent to GC-1, GC-2, GC-3, GC-4, RC-1, RC-2, RC-3, RC-4 for the construction works of Alaba Angecha wato road project, Gishen Junction Road Project, Design Build of Debre Markos Airfield Project. Furthermore, Companies must apply for one specific project.   Firms need to be interested to work with the corporation on terms of fixed rates set by the corporation and need to submit sealed prequalification application for expression of interest. 2  Objective of the Assignment The main objective of this EOI is to invite potential companies who can work with ECWC as a subcontractor on the corporation’s for the above mentioned construction Projects.  Description and specification of the Assignment The companies/firms shall carry out construction works on the above projects of the corporation. With undertaking the work, the companies/firms shall also be able to undertake knowledge transfer to the corporation’s staff. Payment will be made on fixed rate basis. Successful companies shall be able to bring necessary equipment on site for the activities assigned which the corporation will pay on a fixed rate. ECWC will have the mandate to fix the unit rate.  Application Process Interested companies /firms / must fill in the ECWC prequalification applications and submit relevant documents/information/ as to demonstrate that they are eligible and qualified to provide construction works. The result of the EOI prequalification evaluation will be used for identification of the successful company to carry out the above indicated assignments.
