Sometimes you have to figure out ways to do more with less. Recently we had one of those days. We had a ton of tomatoes that we had picked. It was taking a long time to crank the Squeezo strainer and I was on my lunch break helping my wife. Then it hit me... light bulb... (you have to say that in your mind in the voice of Gru from the movie Despicable Me... lol) I went outside and got the cordless drill and we made quick work of those tomatoes. What would have taken probably 3 hours, instead took 20 min. Excuse the tomato juice mess. I originally had the drill on high speed... and let's just say that low speed was plenty fast for this job. 😂 Now the plan is to dry the tomato pulp, skins, and seeds thats waste from this process and dehydrate them. Then we can grind it into a powder and make a thickening aid for when we want the tomato sauce a bit thicker but don't want to change the flavor.
