This has happened too many times in my life. Whenever I see it coming, I remind myself: You’ve seen too much to doubt God now. He has never let it turn out for your harm. There were moments I prayed so hard for certain things to happen. And heard God saying, “It won’t.” But I kept asking anyway. When it didn’t happen, I thought it was over. I thought I knew better. I thought I had lost something important. But in hindsight? Those very things I lost became my biggest reasons to praise Him. Looking back, I wouldn’t change a single one of them.
