A meeting between the Stasi and KGB is documented, dating April 14, 1967, concerning "active measures for the coming year 1967."
Just 49 days later, on June 2, 1967, during a demonstration against the Persian Shah, the student Benno Ohnesorg was unjustly killed by West German police officer Karl Heinz Kurras.
This event was framed as a "reactionary fascist state action." On the very same night, the future members of the RAF called to arms. Essentially, the entire moral framework for the then-emerging "68er" movement was shaped by Ohnesorg's murder. The 68ers are often seen as the roots of anti-German sentiment, mass migration, perpetual guilt, degeneration—you name it.By the way, the document from April 1967 is literally a blueprint for many of the core actions of the later 68er movement.
Fast forward to 2009, when it was coincidentally discovered that Karl Heinz Kurras was an undercover spy working for the Stasi since 1956 and was even a member of the GDR's communist party.
Quite a funny coincidence, isn't it?
Similarly, the former German Verfassungsschutz (inland intelligence agency) publicly described Angela Merkel as a "dedicated cadre-communist."
Let's jump to Moscow in 2018: Putin, speaking in front of a church and monastery, explicitly stated that while there was a lot of violence from the Bolsheviks against the church, "AT THE SAME TIME, A NEW RELIGION WAS CREATED." You can guess which "religion" he meant, especially when immediately afterward he compared Lenin's mausoleum to Orthodox relics.

| 18 |  The Scandalous "Orange Agreement": When the USSR Sold Private Properties of the Former Russian Empire in the Holy Land to Israel
On October 7, 1964, Agreement No. 593—one of the most controversial real estate transactions of the 20th century—was signed in Jerusalem. The USSR declared itself the "sole owner" of the assets belonging to the former Russian Empire in the Holy Land and sold 22 properties (totaling 167,000 m²) to Israel.
Here are the most shocking details of the deal:
Bargain-bin price: The properties were sold for 4.5 million dollars, even though their estimated actual value was a staggering 18 million!
The payment: No cash changed hands. Israel settled the bill using Jaffa oranges and clothing.
Legal dispute: The Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia never recognized the deal. In 1972, Abbot Anthony (Grabbe) sued Israel in an attempt to reclaim the land.
More than 60 years after its signing, the validity of this agreement continues to ignite passions and disputes that persist to this very day.

The song was written by the Silesian songwriter and youth leader Erich Scholz. There has never been a Russian version of this song. It was a song for the German youth movement.
The song is about the defeated West Russian Volunteer Army, which fought against the Bolshevists in the Western Baltic in 1919. The West Russian Volunteer Army was a White Army made up of various German Freikorps, among others, and consisted of 40,000 Imperial Germans and Baltic Germans and 10,000 to 15,000 Russians.
