The messages started coming out this morning (Middle Eastern Time) and have been persisting all day Saturday, August 1, 2026.
In the new region-wide warning, the State Department warns Americans in the Middle East to be prepared for βescalationβ in the Iran conflict, and βshould be prepared for flight cancellations, periodic airspace closures, and potential travel disruptions.β
Most informed Observers agree: This type of message would only come out if a major military escalation is coming in the Iran conflict.
If the conflict does, in fact, escalate, Iran has warned it will target Energy infrastructure of countries throughout the Middle East, keeping the flow of oil stopped (as it is now) and likely sending the Global economy into a factual, severe, Depression from lack of oil/energy.
If military means are used by Iran to hit oil refineries, oil fields, and storage areas, repairing those resources would take YEARS.
