NEW: Like clockwork, the Supreme Court indicates on their website that they will release one or more opinions on Thursday May 23 at 10amET. As always, we will bring you the opinions when they come available on the Court website! Also, as such last week, every Thursday this month will likely be utilized for opinion days. However in June, it’s possible more days will likely be scheduled throughout the weeks (not including Thursday) to accommodate the still outstanding caseload yet this term. There are still 37 cases left for the Court to release!

NEW: Here is the second opinion of the day from the Supreme Court. It is another unanimous decision delivered by Justice Sotomayor. The case is called Smith v. Spizzirri.
