ProTreat is a fully-flexible flowsheeting package for use in the simulation of gas sweetening, dehydration, and sour water stripping operations, including CO2 and H2S removal, either as single or combined gases, from mixtures with other gases in such applications as natural gas, refinery gases, EOR gas streams, syngas streams like ammonia synthesis gas and hydrogen, Claus unit tail gas, CO2 recovery from flue gas, Acid Gas Enrichment (AGR), Acid Gas Reinjection. ProTreat can be seamlessly combined with OGT's sulphur recovery package SulphurPro.

بدون توجه به نوع نرم افزار، پیشنهاد می شود از مراحل زیر به عنوان یک قاعده کلی جهت شبیه سازی دینامیکی فرایندهای شیمیایی و پالایشگاهی استفاده نمایید.
مرحله اول: شبیه سازی در حالت Steady State
مرحله دوم: تعیین سایز تجهیزات دارای Hold UP
شامل Drum, Reactor, Tower, Heat Exchanger - S&T: Shell Type = K
مرحله سوم: تعیین استراژی کنترل (متغییرهای فرایندی و فلسفه کنترل)
مرحله چهارم: تعیین سایز کلیه شیرها و تجهیزات مقاومت
(هر تجهیزی جر Hold UP System)
مرحله پنجم: ایجاد Control Loop در محیط شبیه سازی نرم افزار
مرحله ششم: ایجاد Trend با هدف بررسی عملکرد کنترلی فرایند
مرحله هفتم: انتقال از حالت Steady state به حالت Dynamic
مرحله هشتم: اجرای نرم افزار در حالت Dynamic

بر اساس محاسبات نرم افزار قطر لوله "6.065 (بدون توجه به مقدار ورودی کاربر: "4) محاسبه شده است.

جهت مشاهده قطر محاسباتی، قسمت Processing Tools را در حالت Output File قرار داده و گزینه View را انتخاب نمایید.
