24 As we keep Paschaltide this year, Orthodox Christians should be glad that even in the belly of the beast, our Lord's Resurrection is being celebrated in glorious cathedrals from London to San Francisco; and not merely in dingy Parisian apartments as depicted above. Punk and True Rebellion: The #counter-culture of #rebellion against this world is centuries old and kept alive by those willing to put to death their love of the world and for the sake of the world. The text is spoken by Fr John Valadez on his #podcast #EkNekron and written by John Marler–formerly of the band #Sleep–in his first issue of the zine, Death To The World. I put together the montage of film and stills from various online sources. They are difficult to credit, so I won't. YouTube had no problem with me using them. I hope you enjoy this short film, Punks and True Rebellion. Listen to the Ek Nekron podcast and of course the Last True Rebellion treatise by Marler. It's in the first edition of #D2TW.
