Western nations that try to punish others with economic sanctions are overestimating their strength, Vladimir Putin said at the Eurasian Economic Forum on Thursday.
"More and more countries in the world want and will have independent policies," the president said. "No 'world police officer' can stop this natural global process. No one is that strong."

Remember that once a person awakens they cannot go back to sleep and an awakened public is their greatest fear.
The deep state plays a dangerous game with every move they make and they are careening recklessly into their own demise.
As difficult as it can be to ascertain this through the fog this is the truth: They push this hard because they are a weak and desperate foe. Their power is an illusion compared to God's. To nail Joffe, Durham needed to prove first that Joffe was using Sussmann as a frontman to hide Joffe's involvement in the Alfa Bank hoax.
This is the main purpose of the Susmmann trial - to establish that Joffe was the quarterback of the private spying network that assembled the Alfa Bank hoax using data stolen by private contractors off of federal databases.
Having helped build the Alfa Bank hoax, it was very important to Joffe that fake hoax be fed to both the FBI and the CIA without his name ever being attached to it.
That's what Sussmann's role was. To be Joffe's cover.
The prosecution proved yet again how determined Joffe was to get the Alfa Bank hoax to the FBI while leaving his name out of it when former FBI agent Tom Grasso admitted on the stand that Joffe gave him the Alfa Bank white papers and asked him to pass it on while not telling anybody it had come from Joffe.
Durham is throwing a spotlight on this. Sussmann's being used as a frontman to hide Joffe's role in giving a hoax to two different federal agencies is key to showing where he's going next.
He's going right for Rodney Joffe.

Angel Garza, whose daughter was killed, was handcuffed after trying to run into the school when he heard that a 'girl called Amerie' had been shot. He later found out that she was among those who died while giving medical aid to other children who escaped.

Biden DHS is going to use Uvalde to radically expand its existing efforts to use social media AI monitoring as a way to target individuals deemed as 'dangerous'.
Wedge issue: OMG we have to monitor social media to detect people like Salvador sooner!... and majority of public says "ok" and rolls over.
Claimed objective: Like red flag reports resulting in guns being confiscated from people that have committed no crime, this will be used to justify putting a framework for aggressive action to apprehend those suspected of "future crimes".
Once the new policy framework is up: the DHS will connect-the-dots and go after political dissidents as well. They will say this new program "could have prevented J6 and Uvalde".
Deep state is marching forward and daring anybody to do something about it.

Defense's case featured one witness with amnesia, one that blew up on them massively, and then some character witnesses who tried to convince jury that Sussmann is a really nice man.
Two witnesses bailed on them or otherwise wouldn't testify without being immunized by Durham, and Sussmann himself refused to get on the stand because he is scared of whatever is in the pretrial negotiations.
Defense talked to jury less than 15mins this morning, then rested.
Prosecution said no rebuttal was necessary and rested as well.
Uhh... this has been a catastrophe for Sussmann!
