Yankee Devils ! This is a monument in South Carolina near the town of Chester. Burrel Hemphill Monument Hopewell ARP Church, Olde English District Burrel Hemphill, a slave in the household of Robert Hemphill during the War for Southern Independence, was reportedly tortured to death by Yankee troops for refusing to disclose the location of the family's silverware and other valuables. A monument erected in his honor reads: "In memory of Burrel Hemphill, Killed by Union soldiers February 1865. Although a slave, he gave his life rather than betray a trust. He was a member of Hopewell."

Franklin County, Virginia voted over 70% to KEEP their Confederate Monument in a public referendum ⚡️ God bless Franklin County, Virginia and the over 21,152 people of Franklin County who voiced their opposition to removing the monument. EVERY locality which has ever been allowed to vote has voted in overwhelming majority to keep their Confederate Monuments. Only those in cities and counties which did not allow the people to vote have been removed, yet the media and corrupt politicians will tell you this is what the people want despite all the polling data and referendums showing otherwise.
