Zerodha issue - UPDATE
We just spoke to Zerodha tech team:
- As per them, the issue is RESOLVED for now
- They also sent a notification out on Kite website
- Their team is looking into the cause of the issue
Zerodha - Timeour errors seen
We are seeing timeout errors for some accounts (not all) on Zerodha.
We are reporting the same to Zerodha. Note, if possible also report from your side. Just mention, you are seeing timeout errors on Kite website.
Kotak NEO is LIVE

Important: We highly recommend existing Kotak users to start migrating to the new Neo API based setup. The old KS1 api will be stopped by Kotak in few weeks time.
Angel One - BSE Derivatives is Live
Angel team just informed us that they have enabled BSE derivatives. Although we have only done offline testing for now, but it should work.
Those who are interested in trading BFO (BSE derivatives) on Angel One can go ahead & try it.
Please inform us if there are any issues.
Fyers - instrument not found error (FIXED)
Some of you might have faced this error in the last few days. This is due to a change made by Fyers which results in symbol downloading errors from Fyers' side.
Our team has manually loaded Fyers symbols for now & ticket has been opened with Fyers, so that they can fix the issue:

Fyers users will not face this error now.
Kotak NEO - API Support
The support for these APIs will be ready by coming Friday (3rd Nov).
We currently support Kotak KS1 API. However, Kotak recently stopped giving that API to its users & now they are asking every new user to use *Kotak Neo API*.
Hence, we will be launching support for it.
Upstox Issue - RESOLVED
We have managed to resolve the issue with help of Upstox team.
Upstox Issue
Based on our conversation with Upstox, it seeems incresingly difficult to have automated login solution. This is due to tight security implemented by Upstox to stop any kind of automation in login process.
We are working on finding a solution, although the chances of a perfect solution remain slim.Angel Issue - FIXED
As per our client reports, Angel does not seem to have issues today. Although we have not received any official update from Angel.
Angel & Upstox Update
Angel - No response from the team on the ticket.
Upstox - No response from the team on the login automation issue.
Nothing much we can do when your broker does not respond to the issues. Please take it up with them.
Upstox Update
We have just had a disucssion with Upstox API lead developer. They have understood the problem & they are looking into it.
Although no timeline is promised, we are hoping the issue will be resolve by Monday.
Angel Update
- There is no response from Angel yet. Not sure how long they will take. It may seem to them that it is a small issue, but on our side it has larger consequences.
- What is the issue?
Angel is giving wrong symbol data for monthly option contracts. Resulting in our system showing null symbol & summary screen going blank.
Only those angel users who have these options will face the issue.
- What is a workaround until a fix comes from Angel?
-> Although summary may not be available, you can still see details in (positions/margins/orders tabs)
-> Look for Br. Symbol column to identify the position
Angel - Cause found
Please ask customer care (your relationship managers) to fix this issue. They are sending incorrect symbols.

Angel issues with position data
We are seeing issues with angel broker's position data. This is currently being investigated & we are working getting in touch with angel.
The issue is the symbols are looking incorrect & our system is unable to map it.
DNS issues on some internet providers
Please note that there are DNS server issues on some internet providers like JIO.
This may result in you getting an error while opening website. This is a problem from your internet provider side.

Website is working fine.
Upstox Update
We have spoken to Upstox team & informed them about the problem. They said they will get back to us in 1-2 days.
Meanwhile we are also looking for any possible solution.
Upstox Fix - Failed
The fixes we had did work fine on our windows test servers. However, they failed on our live production servers (which are linux machines).
Upstox uses cloudflare, which is an advanced security provider.
Upstox has made changes to stop direct request to their login apis. This is because Upstox recommends users to manually login atleast once via their website.
Please note to provide manual login is a very big change & will take a lot of time.
We strongly recommend NOT to use UPSTOX. A perfect login automation solution looks extremely difficult at this point for Upstox.
Upstox fixes will go live @ 12:20 pm
Please note that we have successfully developed upgrades to make AutoTrader compatible with new Upstox login changes.
This change will go live @ 12:20 pm (in few mins).
There will be downtime of 1-2 mins for all brokers as emergency changes will be applied.
Upstox issue - update
Upstox made changes in their login flow, this is causing our login automation to fail.
Note: There is no easy fix for this, we will have to re-develop automation. We are working on it on priority.
If you are using multiple brokers, you can keep Upstox accounts non-live for time being (from menu [Settings -> Trading Accounts]).
