Your Past is Qadr, Your Future is Choice 🤍✨
It is an undeniable truth: trials happen, heartbreak is real, and the pain you experienced was heavy. 🛑 Islam never asks us to suppress our grief or pretend we weren't hurt—even the Prophets wept. But there is a profound difference between carrying a scar and letting that scar dictate the destiny Allah has planned for you. 🚫💡
Sometimes, Shaitan uses our past pain to trap us in a cycle of helplessness. We start telling ourselves stories that paralyze our spirits:
- "I am broken because of what happened to me." 🏚️
- "I can never succeed or be happy because of my past." 🛑
- "This is just my lot in life, so why even try?" 📖
While validation feels comforting, staying stuck in this mindset actually pulls us away from Tawakkul (true reliance on Allah). It becomes an unconscious shield to avoid the effort, the vulnerability, and the sacred work required to heal and grow.
Allah tells us in the Quran: "Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves." (Surah Ar-Ra'd, 11:11). 🌱✨
The trials you went through were part of your Qadr (divine decree)—they happened for a reason, and they are over. But how you respond to them today is your responsibility. Accepting this truth is incredibly difficult, and it’s okay if your heart resists it at first. But ask yourself: if shifting your focus back to the present gives you the strength to move forward, isn't that a mercy from Allah worth choosing? 🗝️👣
Your past was a chapter meant to shape you, not break you. You are a servant of the Almighty, and your story isn't finished yet. Renew your intention (niyyah), leave the old heavy chapters in Allah's hands, and take that first brave step forward today. 🌟🤲

“Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah will send blessings upon him tenfold.”
— Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) [Sahih Muslim]
Sending Salawat upon the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) is a simple yet powerful way to earn rewards and draw closer to Allah. Let’s make it a habit to remember and honor the Prophet (ﷺ) through prayer and love.
✨ Why Send Salawat?
It is reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“Increase your supplications for me on the night and day of Friday.”
— [Sunan Al-Bayhaqi]
Sending Salawat is a means of intercession on the Day of Judgment, bringing peace to your heart and blessings into your life.
How to Recite Durood:

اللهم صلِّ على محمدٍ وعلى آل محمدٍ، كما صلَّيتَ على إبراهيمَ وعلى آل إبراهيم، إنك حميدٌ مجيد

| 10 | ❤️Living by the names of Allah
👑 The King Above Every Throne 👑
When we think of human kings, history shows that the more power a person has, the more prone they are to arrogance and corruption because human authority often feels unchecked. True, absolute kingship belongs solely to the Creator.
Consider the humility of those who truly understood this:
- Umar ibn al-Khattab famously wept and feared becoming a corrupt king rather than a just ruler khalifa.
- The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ completely disavowed the prideful demeanor of kings. When a man came to him trembling out of awe, the Prophet ﷺ told him to relax, saying he was simply the son of an ordinary woman who ate dried meat.
Understanding Allah’s Names of Kingship completely changes how we view power, ownership, and our own lives:
🔍 The Three Dimensions of the King
- Al-Malik The King: He is the absolute authority who legislates for the welfare of all creation. He needs no validation, no votes, and His kingship is neither inherited nor borrowed.
- Al-Mālik The Owner: He is the Owner of the Day of Judgment. On that day, earthly titles expire and billionaires will realize they own nothing. Everything we have in this life, even our precious loved ones, are merely borrowed gifts.
- Al-Malīk The Inevitable King: This name signifies the absolute power of execution. No rebellion or coup is possible against Him. When you realize this, you stop seeking safety from people and place your trust entirely in Him.
✨ Al-Jalāl: The Magnetic Majesty
Unlike human rulers whose power inspires fear or humiliation, Allah’s Jalāl Majesty humbles us while drawing us closer. It is a beautiful, magnetic majesty that refines the soul rather than crushing it.
📢 The Two Proclamations
Every one of us answers to one of two calls:
1. The Nightly Call of Mercy: Every single night, Allah descends to the lowest heaven, opening His doors with no guards or bureaucracy, asking: “I am the King... Who is asking Me so I may respond?”
2. The Fateful Call of Judgment: At the end of the world, He will roll up the heavens and ask: “Where are the arrogant tyrants now?”
💡 If we answer His nightly call with humility and repentance today, His final call on the Day of Judgment will be one of pure mercy for us.
🤲 A Beautiful Reflection & Prayer
Ya Malik, remind us that nothing we hold is truly ours. Ya Mālik, teach us to settle our dues and sins before we meet You. Ya Malīk, protect us from a rebellious heart. Ya Dhal-Jalāli wal-Ikrām, fill our hearts with a reverence that draws us near, so we may stand before You small, but never disgraced. Ameen.

| 16 | 🌙 بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ 🌙
📖 QURAN SERIES
Surah Al-Baqarah | Ayahs 237–246
✨ Exact Translation ✨
(2:237) And if you divorce them before consummating the marriage but after deciding on a dowry, pay half of the dowry, unless the wife graciously waives it or the husband graciously pays in full. Graciousness is closer to righteousness. And do not forget kindness among yourselves. Surely Allah is All-Seeing of what you do.
(2:238) Observe the ˹five obligatory˺ prayers—especially the middle prayer—and stand in true devotion to Allah.
(2:239) If you are in danger, pray on foot or while riding. But when you are safe, ˹take time to˺ remember Allah for teaching you what you did not know.
(2:240) Those of you who die leaving widows should bequeath for them a year’s maintenance without forcing them out. But if they choose to leave, you are not accountable for what they reasonably decide for themselves. And Allah is Almighty, All-Wise.
(2:241) Reasonable provisions must be made for divorced women—a duty on those mindful ˹of Allah˺.
(2:242) This is how Allah makes His revelations clear to you, so perhaps you will understand.
(2:243) Have you ˹O Prophet˺ not seen those who fled their homes in the thousands for fear of death? Allah said to them, “Die!” then He gave them life. Surely Allah is ever Bountiful to humanity, but most people are ungrateful.
(2:244) Fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
(2:245) Who will lend to Allah a good loan which Allah will multiply many times over? It is Allah ˹alone˺ who decreases and increases ˹wealth˺. And to Him you will ˹all˺ be returned.
(2:246) Have you not seen those chiefs of the Children of Israel after Moses? They said to one of their prophets, “Appoint for us a king, ˹and˺ we will fight in the cause of Allah.” He said, “Are you not going to cower if ordered to fight?” They replied, “How could we refuse to fight in the cause of Allah, while we were driven out of our homes and ˹separated from˺ our children?” But when they were ordered to fight, they fled, except for a few of them. And Allah has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of the wrongdoers. | 75 |
