*NOTICE OF OPENING OF PORTAL FOR SECOND INSTALLMENT SCHOOL FEE PAYMENT (2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION)* This is to inform all students that the University Portal has been reopened for the payment of the Second Installment of School Fees for the 2026/2027 Academic Session. This opportunity also extends to the few newly admitted students who were unable to resume during the First Semester of the 2026/2027 Academic Session. *Important Information* Students are advised to carefully read and comply with the following guidelines before making any payment: *1: Payment is strictly for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.* Before making any payment, confirm that your portal dashboard displays 2026/2027 as your current academic session. Since we are currently in the Second Semester of the 2026/2027 Academic Session, no payment should be made to any other sessions but the current one. *2: Course Registration Remains Closed.* Since the First Semester examination results have already been uploaded, the course registration portal will remain closed. This is to prevent the resetting of students' course registrations, which could lead to the disappearance of already uploaded results. *3: School Fee Payment Does Not Automatically Register Courses.* Students who successfully pay the Second Installment of their school fees during this period are required to complete their Second Semester course registration through the Webmaster's Office at the Centre. *4: Requirement for Newly Admitted Students.* Newly admitted students intending to resume in the Second Semester must have formally applied for the deferment of their First Semester (2026/2027) and obtained official approval from the Centre before making any payment. *5: Do Not Pay Under the Wrong Academic Session.* If your portal dashboard displays any academic session other than 2026/2027, do not make any payment. Such payments will not qualify for course registration or result processing and may therefore be forfeited. *Summary* Only students whose portal dashboard displays the 2026/2027 Academic Session and who satisfy the above conditions should proceed with payment. Students who do not meet these requirements are strongly advised not to make any payment until their portal status has been corrected or the necessary approval has been obtained from the Centre.

Certainly. Here's a corresponding notice directed specifically to the students: NOTICE TO ALL FINAL YEAR RESEARCH PROJECT STUDENTS Good day. This is to inform all final year students undertaking their research projects that supervisors have been directed to commence the submission of project scores to the Examinations and Records Unit from next week. Students who are yet to complete their research work are therefore advised to immediately liaise with their assigned supervisors and ensure that all outstanding corrections, submissions, and other project requirements are completed without further delay. Any student who fails to maintain communication with their supervisor or neglects to complete the required project activities may not have their project score submitted, which could affect their graduation process. Students experiencing genuine challenges with project supervision should promptly report such issues to their respective Departmental Coordinators for appropriate intervention. All final year students are strongly encouraged to treat this notice with the urgency it deserves and take all necessary steps to ensure the successful completion of their research projects within the stipulated timeframe. Thank you.

Good day. Significant progress has been made in resolving the N.A. (Not Available) status affecting students' results, and many cases have already been successfully addressed. If your result is still showing N.A. despite having evidence of payment and completed course registration, you are advised to report your case as soon as possible starting fro. today with every necessary supporting document for immediate attention. Thank you.

📢*IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL STUDENTS*📢 Dear Students, The Centre has observed with concern a growing trend of poor attendance in both virtual and physical classes, where some students disengage during the semester and only appear during examinations. This practice is not in line with the academic expectations of the University and will not be encouraged. To ensure effective teaching and learning, all students are hereby reminded of the following: 1️⃣ *Mandatory Attendance Requirement* Students are required to maintain a minimum of 70% attendance in all registered courses before they will be eligible to sit for examinations. 2️⃣ *Active Class Participation* Attendance is not only physical or virtual presence but also active participation in class activities, discussions, and learning tasks. 3️⃣*Continuous Assessment (CA) Engagement* Students are expected to participate in quizzes, assignments, discussions, and other CA-related activities during the semester. These form part of your overall assessment. 4️⃣*Attendance Monitoring* Attendance will be taken in every virtual class and monitored strictly using official student records. Non-participation will be recorded accordingly. 5️⃣*Consequences of Poor Attendance* Students who fail to meet the required attendance threshold may be denied entry into examinations, in line with University regulations. 6️⃣*Academic Responsibility* Students are strongly advised to take full responsibility for their learning by attending classes regularly and engaging consistently throughout the semester. We encourage all students to remain committed, disciplined, and actively involved in their academic work to ensure success. Thank you for your cooperation.

*IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL STUDENTS* *Four Weeks Have Passed... Your Success Depends on What You Do Next* Dear Students, The Second Semester has been in progress since *1st June, 2026*, and *four (4) weeks have already been completed*. This means that *approximately ten (10) weeks remain before the semester officially ends on 11th September, 2026*. Although there is still sufficient time to excel academically, every passing day reduces the opportunity to recover from delays or poor study habits. The semester's *virtual learning period lasts for ten weeks*, and *four weeks have already been spent*, leaving *only six (6) weeks before virtual classes conclude on 7th August, 2026*. This is not the time to become complacent. Every virtual class you miss is a learning opportunity lost, and every discussion you ignore is knowledge you may need during tutorials and examinations. Make effective use of every lecture note, reading material and learning resource provided by your facilitators. These materials are designed to guide your independent learning and prepare you for classroom discussions. Do not wait until the end of the semester before attempting to read them. Students who study consistently throughout the semester often perform better than those who depend entirely on last-minute preparation. The *three-week tutorial period will commence on 10th August, 2026*, which is *only about six weeks away*. Tutorials are designed to help you revise, ask questions and strengthen your understanding of difficult concepts. They are most beneficial to students who have already studied their course materials rather than those encountering them for the first time. The *Second Semester Examinations will begin on 31st August, 2026*, which is *approximately nine weeks from now*. Nine weeks may seem like a long time, but in reality it passes very quickly. Students who postpone serious study until a few days before examinations often experience unnecessary pressure and achieve results below their true potential. The semester will officially end on *11th September, 2026*, leaving *about seventy-five (75) days remaining*. The decisions you make during these remaining weeks will largely determine your academic performance. Every day spent procrastinating is a day you cannot recover. This is the time to become more disciplined. Participate actively in every virtual class, study your learning materials consistently, complete all academic tasks promptly and prepare steadily for tutorials and examinations. Small, consistent efforts made every day will produce far better results than rushed preparation at the end of the semester. Stay focused, remain committed and make every remaining day count. Your future success begins with the choices you make today. *We wish you a productive and successful Second Semester.*

NOTICE TO ALL FINAL-YEAR STUDENTS This is to inform all students who have only one semester remaining before graduation to kindly visit the Examinations and Records to review their academic status. This review is necessary to identify and resolve any possible carryovers, outstanding courses, or other academic issues that may prevent your timely graduation. Although such issues are expected to have reflected on your portal during course registration as they will certainly come up centrally when final academic records are being processed for result printing, clearance, or graduation purposes. All concerned students are therefore strongly advised to verify their academic status as early as possible to avoid any last-minute complications. Examinations and Records Unit.
