मला आणि माझ्या मित्राला हिमालय सर करायचा होता.. टार्गेट होतं माउंट एव्हरेस्ट ८८४८ मीटर. वर्ष भर खूप मेहनत केली.. आणि चढाई चालू केली.. मित्र मात्र ७००० मीटर वरच थकून गेला आणि थांबून केला. कसतरी करत मी माऊंट एव्हरेस्ट सर केला आणि तिथे झेंडा रोवला. घरी आलो, आता वाट पाहत होतो की माझे नाव वर्ल्ड रेकॉर्ड बुक मध्ये येईल. शेवटी यादी जाहीर झाली: मित्राचे नाव होते आणि माझे नावच नव्हते.😳 मी निकाल जाहीर करणाऱ्यांना विचारले की मी तर पूर्ण चढाई केली होती तरी माझे नाव का नाही? तर ते म्हटले की तुम्ही जेव्हा ट्रेकिंग करत होते तेव्हा वातावरण खूप छान होते, ऑक्सिजन सिलेंडर काम करत होते.. थोडक्यात तुम्हाला सोपा सेट होता. म्हणून तुमच्यासाठी हिमालयाची उंची १०००० मीटर केली गेली. आणि तुमच्या मित्राच्या वेळेस वातावरण फार कठीण होते म्हणून त्याच्यासाठी हिमालयाची उंची ७०००च पकडली गेली. मी त्यांना सांगितले तुम्ही मला आधी सांगितले असते तर मी १०००० मीटर चढलो असतो. ते म्हटले : आम्ही आधी नाही सांगत, नंतर ठरवतो. मी त्यांना विचारले..
