One of the highlights of the 156th Annual Communication of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge, F.&A.M. of Alabama was the inspiring Annual Address delivered by Most Worshipful Grand Master Dr. Corey D. Hawkins, Sr., Esq. before a packed assembly of Prince Hall Masons and distinguished guests. In a comprehensive and forward-looking address, Grand Master Hawkins reviewed the state of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Alabama, reflecting on the accomplishments of the past year while outlining his vision for the jurisdiction’s continued growth. He also addressed issues impacting the State of Alabama and the nation, challenging the Craft to remain engaged as leaders within their communities while exemplifying the timeless principles of Prince Hall Freemasonry.

Kent Freemason Peter Wise has helped raise more than £𝟏𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 to fund 𝟐𝟎 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬 for Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich.
Inspired by his own experience of spending seven weeks in hospital, Peter recognised the need for more chairs to help patients get to appointments and treatment more quickly. With support from friends across Kent and the wider Masonic community, the appeal reached its target in just eight weeks.
On 29 April, Peter was joined by W.Bro. Scott Dunn to present the cheque to the Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust Charity.
The appeal is still ongoing, with hopes of providing wheelchairs for another major hospital in Kent. Donations and hospital nominations are welcome.

| 3 |  +4CONSECRATION OF THE COURT OF CUIABÁ No. 210
The Masonic Order of Athelstan in England, Wales and its Provinces Overseas
On 18 July 2026, in the Orient of Cuiabá, State of Mato Grosso, the historic Foundation of the Court of Cuiabá No. 210 was held, marking a milestone in the expansion of the Order of 🇬🇧 Athelstan in 🇧🇷 Brazil.
The Court of Cuiabá No. 210 now officially forms part of The Masonic Order of Athelstan in England, Wales and its Provinces Overseas, being attached to the Province of Brazil and holding its jurisdiction directly from the Order in England, observing its Constitutions, regulations, rituals and historic traditions.
The solemnity was presided over by the Provincial Grand Master of the Province of Brazil, RW.Bro. Felipe Eduardo Portela de Paulo, on which occasion the ceremonies of Instruction, Installation and Consecration of the new Court were performed according to the ancient traditions of the Order, with W.Bro. Sandro Gonçalves as Primus Master.

| 10 |  +2A memorable evening at Minster Lodge, York on Thursday 25 June 2026 saw the Brethren celebrate a truly remarkable milestone as W. Bro. Mike Thorpe received his 50-Year Certificate in Freemasonry.
The Provincial Grand Master, Mark Iveson, accompanied by a team of Active Provincial Officers, reflected on Mike’s fascinating life and Masonic journey before inviting him to share some of his own memories and experiences.
When asked what Freemasonry had given him over the past 50 years, Mike’s answer was simple but powerful: “Friendship.” It was a sentiment that resonated with everyone present and perfectly captured the spirit of the evening. The Provincial Grand Master then presented Mike with a certificate to mark this wonderful occasion.

The ceremony was a masterclass in ritual and organisation, and we extend our highest praise and sincere thanks to the Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies, W.Bro. Richards Thomas, together with his Deputies, W.Bro. Jonathan Evans and W.Bro. Shaun Cuddihy, for delivering a faultless and dignified ceremony.
Our gratitude must also go to the Provincial Grand Secretary, W.Bro. Ben Gait, and the many Stewards and Volunteers whose hard work, commitment, and dedication behind the scenes ensured that today’s meeting was the outstanding spectacle it proved to be. Their efforts are invaluable and greatly appreciated by all who attended.

| 19 |  +2On Saturday, 20 June, no fewer than 17 Cheshire Mark Men, including some with “dual nationality”, crossed the border to support our close neighbouring province at their Annual General Meeting, held in Colwyn Bay.
The meeting was held in glorious sunshine, in the atmospheric surroundings of Rydal School, and was very well attended and well organised by the Provincial Grand Master, John Evans, and his team. It also drew support from no fewer than ten of his counterparts from other provinces.
We look forward to being able to support other provinces across the Constitution when and where we can. If you want, I can also make it a bit more formal or more “newsletter style” depending on where it’s going. | 48 |
| 20 |  +1The Second EVER "Light Blues Communications"
On Saturday 31st May, Lodge Sine Nomine No.10,000 once again hosted and subsequently 'handed-over' to Grand Lodge for the Second Edition of the Light Blues Communications.
Over 1,600 Brethren (mostly light blues) from across the Country came together to fill the Grand Temple for a series of presentations, including: "Communicating Freemasonry in the 21st Century".
Representatives of the Council for Freemasonry for Great Britain entered the Grand Temple in full procession, a first for English Freemasonry. This united members of UGLE with Freemasons from the Grand Lodge of Scotland, together with the two Women’s Grand Lodges, the Honourable Fraternity of Ancient Freemasons (HFAF) and the Order of Women Freemasons.
